These kinds of videos are why I'm here. Your video "how to land a jet" changed my life bro! *sobs*. I'm kidding, but for real, that was a great tutorial on a topic that doesn't have much content. Keep these kinds of videos coming!

There will be more tutorial content in the future - thanks!

Enjoyed the breakdown with various stunt performances from basic to advance and how your detailed explanation makes it easier to comprehend. Thanks. On the other side of good is bad, and on that note, can you do a video compilation of what not to do on a EDF. Maybe you have enough footage from the pass that you can put together. For example pass videos of a potential tip stall and what to look for before it happens, what a bad landing approach looks like and deciding when to go around , accelerated tip stall, etc.. Then explain how to recover from each bad situation.
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
"tip stall" is a RC myth - it's an asymmetric stall. 😉 We'll definitely consider that idea. Thanks!

Nice job buddy! I want you to come up with your own maneuver, and call it the "cray cray". Lol!
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
There's a Timber maneuver that Tony and I call the "Jon-covak" pronounced "Jonshevak" that's a Lomcovak maneuver performed 10 times in a row becoming increasingly more violent until hitting the hard deck and pulling out. I need to perform that again. ;)
@ModelAV8RChannel2 жыл бұрын
@@TwoBrosRC awesome...in 3D/XA they call that a "crankshaft". Sweet maneuver!
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
@@ModelAV8RChannel Nah, definitely isn't a crankshaft. You'll see if I ever remember to perform it. ;)

better way to explain flying inverted and using rudder is , coming towards you, you push the nose , and flying away from you, you push on the tail..
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
We're not sure how that's really explaining how to fly inverted high alpha.
@WickedMoto2 жыл бұрын
@@TwoBrosRC i was just commenting on when you mentioned the rudder usage while inverted. i never said that was to high alpha better. but regardless inverted or inverted high alpha you push the nose with the rudder stick, and flying away from you, you push on the tail, was giving extra advice to newer inverted flyers not you specifically

I do now🤣. Seemed kinda jumpy. I just purchased the f16 80mm thunderbirds. I only purchased a 6 channel spektrum rx. I have the option to either do flaperons or thrust reversing. Do you think this jet really needs flaps to land at a reasonable speed? I own the 80mm bar Hawk and the 70mm viper jet now. How much faster will it land with without flaps compared to those two jets?
@TwoBrosRC Жыл бұрын
Jumpy is a matter of perspective. We're not flying in a wide open area, we're flying in a narrow runway corridor of an airport with large trees surrounding it, so being able to tightly maneuver and do so quickly is super important. If we had a big open space to work with, it would be a lot easier to have smoother movements. Flaps aren't needed to land, they're just a scale feature that we enjoy. It lands well with a nose up attitude regardless of whether it has flaps or not.

Very cool flying! Do you use any of the hobby eagle gyros? I’ve installed their pro edition so I can program it on my laptop while at the field, but I cannot find the sweet spot for the gain settings. Always either way to low to notice or to high and the servos go cray and oscillate. Lol. Didn’t know if you found the magic number! Thanks again and great videos!
@TwoBrosRC2 жыл бұрын
Nope, we use AS3X built into the receivers we fly.
@thomasusowski21552 жыл бұрын
@@TwoBrosRC I love the Spectrum AS3X receivers! So much better! My son is wanting to learn how to fly jets so I installed a hobby eagle gyro with a trainer mode, but I’m kind of nervous to try it. I guess anything can be tried out high enough up. Lol I’ve been binge watching your videos! So good! Please keep them coming!

How many of you have heard the term there is no such thing as ( a landing ). In reality, it’s called a ( controlled crash .)
@Dcscockpit Жыл бұрын
Your a good pilot, but you need some expo, your constantly correcting where corrections really wouldn’t be required if you didn’t have 50mm of throw with zero expo where every human 1/1000th of an inch movement throws the jet into a roll😂 just seems like your right stick moves A LOT more than it needs to. I run 70% on all my edfs and they fly like a dream and you don’t lose any control throw or maneuverability.
@TwoBrosRC Жыл бұрын
You know we're using 80% expo here, right?
