Learn how to knit with Double Pointed Needles or DPNs. Knitting with DPNs allow you to knit in the round. i absolutely can't thank you enough for your tutorials! I've been struggling to get the hang of DPNs for a while, trying all sorts of other tutorials and just thinking I was stupid when I couldn't get it right. Excellent tutorial, I could have used this 30 years ago when I struggled and failed to juggle the double pointed needles.However ,you say that circular needles have to be the size of your project but a longer length circular can be looped to knit even small hats and socks ....I found this out only a few years ago and now manage to knit in the round without juggling and I enjoy not having to seam hats , baby socks and sweaters 🎉🎉

Thank you. Yes the magic loop is a great way to knit in the round without needing the exact size circular needle. I also have a couple videos on the magic loop. I do a lot of knitting with both the magic loop and DPNs. Happy knitting!!

Yes I do actually. These are my Honey lined waffle mittens. It's a fully lined mitten, but you can knit the mitten without the lining if you desire. It is available in my Ravelry store. Link below. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/honey-lined-waffle-mittens

Thanks so much for this video! I have come across a pattern that directs to use only 3 dpns total. The stitches are suppose to be divided on only 2 dpns and then use the third to do the knitting. I have tried this and cannot figure out how to do it. Do you have any suggestions? Any suggestions/advice appreciated!

@@jacqknits Thanks for the reply and the video! It is for a pattern for fingerless gloves with finger weight yarn so there are a lot of stitches. According to the video, only 3 needles total is for when one has a small number of stitches so it is not clear to me why the author of the pattern would want to only use 2 needles. I may try and adapt it for four needles if the pattern doesn't become too hard to make it work. Thanks, again!

I don't think you mentiones which side is the right side of work. Looks like the inside of tube. Working cuffs in ribbing, I was quite confused.

The right side of your work is the outside of your tube. You are knitting your stitches with the outside of your tube of knitting facing you. Working around the outside of the tube or circle.
