This video will show you how to create the "Olympia" woven cuff bracelet. It's a lovely piece that will go with any piece of copper jewelry and adds interest to any casual outfit.
What you'll learn in this video:
* How to create the cuff using the Figure 8 Weave
* How create dimension in your swirls
* How to create your own artisan clasp

Chain Nose Pliers (Link to beginner set: amzn.to/3WV5b8u)
Round Nose Pliers
Flush Cutters
Bracelet Mandrel or Round Object
Chasing Hammer (amzn.to/4arsk5G)
Nylon/Rubber Mallet (amzn.to/4aCfl10)
Steel Bench Block (amzn.to/4brpEq4)
Small Mandrel, Dowel, or Pencil
(About 5-6mm in diameter)
(Optional) Awl (amzn.to/3UKF6q4)
(Optional) Clamp (amzn.to/4bPgeEi)
And for materials:
(x2) 18 Gauge Round Wire (10") (Dead-soft)
(x1) 16 Gauge Round Wire (10") (Dead-soft)
(x2) 18 Gauge Round Wire (5") (Dead-Soft)
(x1) 20 Gauge Round Wire (5") (Dead-Soft)
~ 25' of 28 Gauge Round Wire (Dead-Soft)
(x1) 8mm Cabochon
(x1) 18 Gauge Round Wire (3") (Dead-Soft)
Note: This will make a 6" bracelet (small). Add an inch to create a medium sized bracelet and 2 inches for a large bracelet.

You have insane hammer control! Maybe it’s because I’m not using any of the right tools but I can never get my wire to be that consistent when I hammer it 😫

Thanks! It’s taken a bit and a lot of practice to get that control as well as just being patient with the process. And having a convex hammer rather than one with a flat head helps so much, too!

I actually got it on sale at Joann Fabrics! :) It's supposed to be for ribbon, but I figure that if, and when, the dowels break, I'll just replace them with something stronger. lol
