It's a lovely tutorial, thanks! What type of colours are best to use on canvas? I am confused between acrylic and oil paints.

You can use either acrylic or oil paints on primed canvas! You just need to be sure that the canvas is primed before using oil paints on it. It is most ideal to also paint with acrylics on a primed canvas but it is not absolutely necessary - but it is much easier to paint on! :) Best of luck to you!
