Hi, I am enjoying these lessons. It would help me if you said the phrase or words first in English and then in Arabic, and then again. That way I know what to listen for. Is this possible? Thanks, shukran!

This is basically Standard Arabic except the verb conjugations and the pronunciation are different.

I mean duuh. Dialects come from Standard Arabic so not sure why you're surprised.

hussami khaldoun actually modern scholars (eg Dr Ahmad Al-Jallad etc) of the history of the Arabic language would find that your facts are not consistent with the evidence. It is not true that Akkadian is 100% Arabic
@eliasnasser11604 жыл бұрын
@hussami khaldoun thank you for the reply Hussami; I understand exactly what you mean about the current political climate! My plea is that we allow history to be what it is: Arabic is such a beautiful language and its beauty stands whether or not it was the oldest language I really encourage to read the works of Ahmad which you will find truly amazing and inspiring. مع سلامة

What is the difference between ana mishta and ana mishtalak ? In the video you said ana mishta means I miss you , but I guess means "i miss" ?! 🤔
@noorqar44334 жыл бұрын
Ana mishta , said in general ( one or more male or female), ana mishtalak , i miss you to the male one ... Ex: - Me: kefak ( aw kef halak? ) - You : Alhamdulellah mneh, wallah meshta Another ex: - your friends: kefak ( aw kef halak? ) - You: Alhamdulellah mneh, wallah meshta Another ex: - your friends: kefak ( aw kef halak? ) - You: Alhamdulellah mneh, wallah meshta'lkom Another ex: - Me (Male): kefak ( aw kef halak? ) - You: Alhamdulellah mneh, wallah meshtalak Another ex: - Me (Female): kefak ( aw kef halak? ) - You: Alhamdulellah mneh, wallah meshta'lek 🙂
