*Mar7aba estazza, @ about **03:12**, since Ta-bee-3 means 'nature' , why do you pronounce it with the 'et' on the end of it (Ta-bee-3et)? Shukran.*

Nature is طبيعة (Ta-bee-"a). it ends with (ta marbouta), so we pronounce it sometimes, for example when we say (the nature of): (ta-bee-"et).

Thank you for these! I have been wanting to learn this specific dialect and so I’m really grateful that you’re focusing your lessons on it. Could you tell me why in some cases you mention the female and in others you don’t (for example with baker, butcher, cook, blacksmith, plumber, etc. you do not mention the female way of saying it). In those cases would the word just be used to refer to both a female and a male in that profession?

There might be more than one way to translate it. I would say : (ضابط مراقبة السلوك) (Dha-bit mu-ra-qa-bit su-look), or (ضابط الإطلاق المشروط) (Dhabit el et-laq el mash-root)

There are so many MSA videos that this channel is a breath of fresh air telling us how to say what people with understand. From personal experience in country, no one wanted me to speak MSA! They would sooner hear my American English than MSA. My flight landed in Jordan and immediately, people started telling me Shami words I should use instead of MSA.
