Glad to hear you found the lesson useful, Myriam. The correct forms are 'in my dreams' and 'on the phone'. Unfortunately, there are no general rules for these because there is no real reason for them. For example, we say 'in + dream/movie/newspaper' but 'on + phone/TV/radio' etc. Why? No reason! They have just become habits for English speakers. So this means you have to learn these through experience.

Hi Pranesh, it depends on the rest of the sentence. Compare: 1. "I can't reach his phone. He might be on a plane." - I don't know if he's actually traveling or not, so I'm not talking about a specific plane. 2. "I can't reach his phone.
