Not only does he have to deal with Morden Driving Test Centre, but he also gets a driving test failure for speeding! Appreciate it Francis, Failed the driving test with 5 minors and 1 serious, I went 20 in a 30. If there are lamposts and no speed signs then it is a 30. But we move. Thanks for this, was a lot of fun.

Yellow Boxes are unfair on tests during congestion times. People are too impatient and will just ignore you, then there's hesitation. I will go for the minor.

Francis, you need to do a driving test route at Wanstead Test Centre. One of the hardest test centres in London because it has so many huge give way roundabouts

I passed in Wanstead and it can be very tricking. Spent more money than needed because my confidence lacked so much in Wanstead. Would love to see a video in Wanstead!

id say Germany cars gone down hill over last 15 plus years, amount times ive been in one and its go light on dash something needs fixing. id say even tho it gone down hill from good days Toyota they seem to be very high list for reliability the less cost option Hyundai they 5th brand for reliability, two my family members me and my mums partner both cars been very reliable, he got 2005 4x4 had no issues, mines a 2011 i20 starts every time always got me home, still manages 8 hours drive having bit abuse those well hills and mountains to maintain your speed sometimes put in 3rd at 60 at bottom of a climb and high revs it hold its speed even on 25% grade and only 1.2 but it weighs 1.1 ton with full tank fuel, it can have a day loads 0-60 i go for a gap to merge on to a road but most 2nd get used always had time to build speed so 8 hour drives don't skip a beat it goes well, even long climb at 5k rpm the temp never rises. car gets bit hammering but also well maintained and reg oil changes. was only going to keep it a year a stop gap car as in hurry to find car to stay with same insurance guess what now thats over 4 years later and been so impressed with it im actually looking at the new gen of the i20 but same engine, engine punches above it weight if your willing to use more gear, and parts been very reasonable like brakes, disks and pads are only £60 corner and tires £60 a corner, back box £120, clutch what managed 100k miles only £500 but that inc fitting and service and mot, reliability id say it pretty dam good what i experienced only flaw paint could be better but protect it from day one that not be an issue. only thing on next car cruise control, and 5 door and metallic paint and very few cars i scroll through 1000's it like watching paint dry french / German another french maybe if they diesel they seem better but with the ulez con its petrol way to go for now, going for new gen i20 i know engine quite well now parts reasonable cost and mines been really good, looking out my window i can see three of them and they had years, the new gen i20 is very high on the list prob the top currently, i do like yaris but cost them way more than willing to spend and as reliable as i20 and to stay with same tax id need a diesel but only euro 5 , i20 1.2 euro 6 and £35 tax so being euro 6 it should stay exempt for a bit long yet from the city charges as it a car i plant to keep a very long time got to thing those things too. win the lotto id get a mini remastered, old mini with a new frame and body refined engine and updated inside lovely put together car 1000 man hours but it costs £70-120k ive seen them for sale as id have that as daily and 90's style but new landcruiser from AUS with v8 diesel for the road trips as in aus you still get old shape landcruiser but brand new and that car last for life

what ever side road you driving on what ever country i call it your correct side. id say not being able to use speed when learning out never get to feel how the car behaves esp under braking. 3rd hour / lesson my instructor had me on out road town and section 50mph was not long we did laps learning to build speed and braking and judging distances, it was a tricky one as slowing and steep hill where limit changed took a bit to get it right, not long after that first trip on duel and 70mph road and first time coming to roundabout on 70mph road i did no way use brakes enough but i was soon told more brakes. i feel it important as learner to experience higher speeds before passing test car behaves different than plodding around at 20/30/40 esp in shorter wheelbase car more twitchy too

When you gonna do mock tests in bromley/Hither green? Your test route guides were posted 3 year ago and your actually mock tests are 1 year old😂 all the time Morden or Mitcham😂 and you say you cover south east London😂

i put blind spot mirrors on all my cars 29:02 it means no need to adjust mirrors for reversing and normal driving i can see how center lane i am, and main mirrors set slightly wider and height normal level good for roundabouts so mirrors cover everything the way i got them set the car/ road and far out and everything in between

I'm so disappointed. I did so well on my driving test yesterday, and because I'm always watching these mock test videos, I assumed that at the end of my test, the examiner would say "switch off your engine". I made such a stupid mistake, I put the handbrake up, put the gear in neutral and then she asked me to stand outside the car, but I didn't turn off the engine and I immediately failed right there.

Hii Francis! Been a fan for a while and love how nice and understanding your videos are! They help me a lot! Just a small question or query. either can you tell me if you can open your door after doing a bay park in your test? and is that after you’ve secured the car. Or can you do a video with all the things you can ask your examiner during the test, for example, can you repeat that or I’m just gonna readjust! Thank you would help me loads! Keep up the work!

Hey Kacey! That’s a great video idea, thanks! You can definitely open your door after a manoeuvre if your car is secure. Treat your examiner like a passenger too, ask them to open their door if you need! You can always ask your examiner for directions or for any help you need! The worst that will happen is they’ll say I can’t help you with that, but at least they then know you’re trying to work it out. The examiners aren’t scary, think of them like your uncle that’s taking you out for a drive. They’re just regular people who want you to pass and want you help you! Obviously there’s some things they can’t help with, like what’s the speed limit, but they will noooot mind you asking!

Just had my driving test today... Everything went perfect, manoeuvres, give-way etc. Until the last 5 minutes where I had to follow the GPS towards the exam centre, i was too focused on the GPS and went 127 km/h instead of 120 on the highway, and 38km/h in a 30. Literally so annoying.
