@@junaidakbar2272 i passed mine today on my third go, the first two times were silly mistakes that were majors but they never put me or the other cars as their was no cars but if there had of been it might have been dangerous, i done about 12 lessons but was split up as my first 5 or so was last summer then covid messed it up then i done 7 in the last two months or so and got it today with 3 minors that were all separate things, goodluck with your test when you have one

This channel is a god send for learning what to and what not to do. I've had 2 lessons so far and both times drove home in busy traffic with one or 2 stalls. I found this channel after my lessons and as it's hard to get more than 1 lesson a week these videos are really helping with my knowledge of keeping safe on the road. Passes my test 15 days ago and just wanted to say how good the ultimate driving course was in helping. It costs £30 but it saves you so much more on driving lessons. Only needed 7 hours of driving lessons just to get used my instructors car and for her to take me on the hard routes. Thank you!

@@madlad952 I wouldn't say it was hard. I downloaded the official DVSA app, and revised using the practise questions and hazard perception videos on that app alone. I wouldn't recommend buying the Highway Code (but it is still useful to have, just not in relation to the theory test). But I 100% suggest you get that app and use it to prep for your theory. I found out that the questions in the actual test were either extremely similar or the same (since it is from DVSA themselves)! Good luck!

I think he said you can have no more than 15 minor faults to pass (so if you got only 14 or less then you would definitely pass), but if you get even 1 serious fault then you fail 🤗👍

I remember my driving test way back in 95, in about the first 5-10 mins I had an issue at a roundabout & in my mind had failed so relaxed for the rest of the drive was totally convinced I had failed but I passed, first time (obviously this was before satnav’s, independent driving but in the days of parallel parking, reversing around a corner etc.)

I booked my test over 7 months ago, it kept being postponed due to covid. 3x it got postponed, so I stopped taking lessons and forgot all about it. In the end it was finally postponed till June 24th... Long story short, went to my test with 2hrs of driving in 6+ months. Literally learnt my show me tell me and how to open the bonet 1h before my test.. passed with 3 minors😁 Your videos help alot!!👍 To add some more pressure my theory was expiring in a month, so it really was pass or redo everything!

My friend has had 4 tests and failed all. But the particular test in question (her last one) she got 2 majors. 1 for keeping the speed of 35 on a 40, is that correct? And also for missing a gap on a roundabout? I thought they would be minors not majors?

I struggle with downshifting in general. My approach is too quick and as a result, I change gears at the wrong speed. E.g going from 30mph main road into a minor road, end up downshifting to gear 2 at like 20mph and sometimes even 23mph. I try to put more conscious thought into it but I feel like I’m braking and downshifting mid turn instead of already being ready before it. Anyone got any tips, should I make it a rule to be in the correct speed 5-6 car lengths away?

I have that issue sometimes too! My instructor says the only issue there is not preparing for the turn early enough, So you’re right maybe make sure you’re in the right gear a few cars away!

During the parallel park while he was reversing/moving into the space there were cars coming behind and in front. My instructor said if there are cars coming towards you either way you have to stop the manuveur until they go past or stop for you otherwise you fail, is this true? Got my test in a couple of weeks, these vids help a lot :)

I find it really interesting that it is a fault in GB to drive save and waiting for a gap the driver is confident with. Sure, don't stay there and wait until there is no car at the horizon. But in Germany where I come from, the instructor always says, if you don't feel confident don't pull out. It's better to wait instead of stalling the car in the middle of the road in front of an oncoming car because you are stressed.

At 18:00 to 18:32 that shouldn't have been a driving fault bc he couldn't have seen the cars coming from the right side it could of been dangerous for him to go when he can't see thats why he pulled up u can even see it when he stops he looks straight to the right but overall I felt like it was a good driving test
