Thank you for this video. If I need to simulate this, how can I know the central frequency, source-receiver distance, time window, etc? I am a beginner in this area. Thank you
@Learngpr4 ай бұрын
@@arkjn20 great questions. The central frequency is difficult to really say with this system because it is a stepped frequency continuous wave. I look at it more like what's the frequency range for systems like this. For the rest you should be able to get it from the manual. Good luck! And let me know how it works out.

The video was very informative it has great insight into the operation of the unit. Your technician great. Maybe also have someone else hold the camera it was moving around too much. I really had a hard time seeing the screen.

Thank you Sir. In general, how deep can GPR detect subsurface anomalies
@Learngpr Жыл бұрын
That depends on the soil conditions you are working in and frequency of the system.

Do you deal with the iPad overheating in this peak summer weather?
@Learngpr Жыл бұрын
Yes we have. We once were on site and had to put it in the cooler holding the waters to decrease temp. Was very annoying
@HimmyJohn Жыл бұрын
@@Learngpr yeah it’s been frustrating to say the least. We use iPad pros so I was thinking it was maybe the processor being more prone to overheating. Was thinking to try and switch the model and see how that works. What iPad model do you use?

Not sure. I'd have to check.

@Learngpr Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. It has been used on many archaeological sites. If you would like to discuss details you can reach out to my team, or myself directly. We would be happy to answer any specific questions.
