YES! sewing videos please! & it would be great if you could add in what kind closure is best for the different laces? I have tried guipure lace + lining with invisible zip but it hard to slide it up & down cause of the thickness. & chantilly lace with invisible zip as well but it cuts in the lace easily..

Lace is my jam, so LOVED this! 🤗. Notable about double border lace (as in your white Alençon example): they are meant to be cut, following the design along the middle, essentially giving you twice as much fabric. Because, as you mentioned, border lace is used to finish edges. When separated along the middle, the cut part (not being as dramatic as the scalloped edge) allows for a soft transition from face fabric to scallop trimmed edge. Ultimately, you need half the amount when ordering the lace, which is great considering Alençon lace is expensive! Also, many people are not fond of eyelash, so it is worth mentioning that it can easily be trimmed off leaving the scallop clean edged. -RoxieCouture

Hi Zoe this video had a lot of info I love lace and when the designers make something exquisite my mouth drops wide open. I have some Rose appliqués that I,m going to apply to my Jean Jacket. I think I,m going to chest and use some fabric glue and just attach in various places. I can see you making a nice dress with the lining in that yellow fabric. I love the lace with scallops. Let’s not forget about Corduroy when laying fabric with a Nap. I went to HS of Fashion Industries and I,ve been sewing since I was 9. Love creating beautiful things. Getting my pieces ready for my Jean kimono Coat.

Please do another video on sewing and construction with lace. I just started a 5-7 outfit collection and one of the fabrics is lace, and will likely be backed with organza in a lot of the garments, or layered on another fabric, and I would love to see more videos before I sew it. It's the most expensive fabric of my four, and that terrifies me.

Not a fan of lace, but loved the interpretation! I can not think about wearing lace without soft lining beneath it! Lace is more of a decorative piece of garment to me than comfort. In that case silk, cotton, leather, fur etc. would probably win the show when it comes of comfort.
