Jacques man you are loved and supported by so many people and I can't thank you enough for how much you've inspired me and so many others. I just turned 24. I have adhd and my dad left at a young age which has made life so difficult to navigate. The sleepless nights, overthinking, depression, closing myself off, etc. As a man its frowned upon to talk about your emotions and your feelings and you're just tearing down those barriers. Again, I can't thank you enough Jacques and hope nothing but the best for you and your family❤

I haven’t even finished the full interview but I have so much respect for this man. He is breaking down toxic masculinity by being so open and actually addressing such important topics like mental health. This interview so far has been great, 2 true men showing what being a man really is and speaking about the real things. I really relate to Jacques on a lot of the topics as well. Both Scott and Jacques did a great great job with this !

Women have toxic masculinity and perpetuate it just as much as men. The label “toxic masculinity” refers to the concept that men need to be tough and closed off with their feeling to be a man which of course women play a big role in too! I never said toxic masculinity was an all male issue but he is helping the issue by being open with his feelings.

Massive respect for Jacques for being open and honest about his emotions because I think we all understand how hard it is to talk about it. I don't know but I felt like he still struggled during the interview but he felt safe enough to share what was going on. People judged him way too soon just by seeing a reality show but maybe this will help them understand how he is. He loves his mum with everything he has got and it is so warming to hear it. I respect you both so much proves that you should never always believe what you see on social media and judge someone for it especially on love island you will never know a person until you have a conversation with them can see how he really is and I seen it from the second he left the villa he was trapped in a place he couldn’t escape not only the villa but his own mental health. I can relate to him a lot with not having a father figure but having an amazing bond with my mum and making her, me and my siblings proud is all I want. It’s ok to make mistakes but learning from them and owning up to them and dealing with them correctly is the only way to fix them he’s done really well with doing that can’t wait to see what he will be doing in the future

I’ve been watching last year’s season on streaming. Jacques’ situation was genuinely heartbreaking and too familiar to me. His childhood story shows how damaging it can be to guilt children for things they can’t control. The seeds were planted and germinated into the bad decisions in his adult life. I have the utmost respect for his character and willingness to take responsibility for his problems before they consumed him. Moral support is the most precious thing we need in order to heal.

I've listened to plenty of people's stories on mental health , but this man the way he explains his troubles I can totally relate. The self hate the over thinking of the smallest things I can 100% relate , being impulsive with toxic aggressive behaviour and hating yourself in the aftermath not being able to forgive yourself and even when people say they forgive you not believing them as you don't see a way how they can. Being socially awkward at a young age even though your still just one of the lads. I was into football and boxing but at the young age mainly football and I remember many times thinking if I don't make it in football I don't want to be here. Its helpful to me to hear someone talking this way and it's the way I've felt as when people usually talk about depression I can't completely relate to what there saying maybe in small ways but with jax really struck a cord with me. Stay strong jax 💪 keep fighting people like us our biggest fight is definitely with ourselves mate 👍

Jacques nobody put a gun to your head and forced you to be disloyal to Paige. I’m all for him being open and honest about his ADHD and hats off to him for that, but in this situation he did still have a choice and he was willing to put up with the consequences. We’re the death threats and trolling acceptable? Absolutely not in any way. But also Jacques wasn’t very nice to Remi inside & outside the villa. Not forgetting how he treated Cheyenne. So maybe lesson here is - treat people how you would want to be treated. He’s got a lot of work to do on himself but he is fully aware of that and best of luck to him on his journey of self discovery.

@@boxingstraighttalk6599 did you totally just miss the point of my comment? I’ve just said it’s great he’s speaking up about his mental health/spreading awareness and that he’s working on himself. I just said nobody forced him to do anything in that situation everyone has a choice in there. Which he has acknowledged which is why he’s making changes & going to therapy. Evidently you’re illiterate as you seem to have missed all of that. 😅 as for mental health, you have no idea about my life or the things I’ve pushed through to still even be here today… so don’t say I have no idea about it. If you could drop the personal attack that would be great because trust me you have no idea 👍

It’s all good wanting to take time out and talk about your struggles. I am not aware of the struggles of ADHD.. however reading the comments saying how he is so brave. Sure brave to discuss and talk about it. In my opinion though which I’m entitled to have. Jaques behaviour towards Paige, Remi, Tasha and Cheyenne was not ok. The situation that happened when Gemma said to Jaques about what Adam said. Jaques behaviour was so out of order so what if Adam said some things it wasn’t anything extremely bad for Jaques to act that way and how he spoke to Billy. Struggling with ADHD is probably so difficult but it also doesn’t excuse being horrible and nasty and mocking people esp after you left the villa to work on your behaviour. Why did he leave the villa to work on himself then mock tasha and remi? Accountability needs to be taken here.

He has a business interest as a PR manager to shed a good light on the people he manages. It’s called Public Relations for a reason. How does his client he manages being cast in a bad light good for him? He’s controlling the narrative, if you look Scott leads all the conversation on how Jacques has behaved cause without it he’s clearly just a massively insecure bully.

@@oliviaoneill7592 I’m just confused by the conflict of interest comment. It’s not a legal matter. There is no interest being conflicted. Yes his manager has a podcast and Jax is on it, there’s no problem with that! Lots of people do podcasts for eg of their best friends. There’s no rule you can only do podcasts of independent people!! Running a podcast, you always control the narrative, that’s the premise of EVERY podcast. You don’t let the guest on your podcast run the narrative!!! If you’re not happy with listening to the podcast, don’t but I don’t understand the need to comment nasty comments under it!
