I spent about $150 and bought a re-built one specifically for my 1995 SC300. Money well spent, re-gained the visual and lower fan speed function.

I replaced the LED (not easy!) and now I have no illumination? Any idea what leads are the backlights? 92 SC400

It would be cool if someone could take the climate control out completely, reverse engineer the plug harness and pop in a bluetooth module/plug that you can control from your phone. Completely delete the DIN and tell Siri to change your temp.... One day.
