As somebody in the UK, this all just sounds very odd. Over here, driving lessons are completely separate to school where you find your own instructor (normally on yelp or through word of mouth) and pay them for blocks of lessons. You then get a 1 on 1 driving session maybe every week depending on how busy your instructor is. Everything else is pretty similar though in terms of testing.
@emilytalerman35673 жыл бұрын
Thats how it is now most schools don’t offer it anymore
@DailyDoseofSpace.2 жыл бұрын
Damn, in Australia we learn with our parents (or someone who has a full license) and when we need to take a test to upgrade to the next level (such as L's to P1, or P1 to P2) we do the test with an instructor.
@Shadothecat2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the state. When i took a class I paid for it separately. But ultimately all you really have to do is go to the dmv and take the written part. Pass and then you can be taught by a legal driver
@boopie6635 Жыл бұрын
@Daily Dose of Space You can learn with your parents in the uk too, but the rules are strict. Just most people don't, as an instructor is going to make you a better driver.

The dude at my driver license test was really nice. He told me what mistakes I made but like you know, in a good way. The first one I made was making a turn to get to where he was so that he could get in and begin testing. "You didn't use your turn signal coming in here. Good thing I wasn't testing you yet." Like he exuded good energy. If you tried and failed, he wouldn't be upset. So at the end, I was nervous. "What if I made too many mistakes". So he was checking my score (you needed like 15 points to pass), and said this: "Well, you got 18, so unfortunately, I'm gonna to pass you." I was there with my mom, and after getting out of the car and heading near her, he added "Well? Tell her the bad news!" He was great.

I had my first ever panic attack when I drove for the first time with an instructor. I’ve noticed that it’s a constant across drivers ed that they don’t actually teach you how to drive but sit you in front of a wheel and expect you to figure it out on my own. she said I would never be a good driver and actually called me insane because I had trouble turning and was scared to go on the road, I had never been behind a wheel before.

The Bible is truth. To understand this you must do the inner work Jesus Christ taught. It all starts with forgiveness from the heart. Start by finding the grievances we all build up with our parents. They have generally raised fed loved us to some degree. Looking inside, realizing that they are people who make mistakes too, and genuinely forgiving them everything shows an important aspect of your soul to God. Genuinely mean absolute forgiveness inside your heart. This is key. To be forgiven we must forgive. This step teaches you why Jesus Christ is lord, and why you need to break down to him and ask for forgiveness. Afterwards read Genesis, Mathew, and one book of the Bible you chose yourself. These four steps have important spiritual significance and are like milestones within our souls. Please trust me. Genuinely open your heart up to God. It is all true. Jesus Christ is the way truth and life. 😊

Then, once you have your permit you drive with another adult who has their license and practice for your test, which is honestly really hard where I am since there are very specific driving laws... I guess it depends though.

1:25 Amen to that one... Driver's Ed. was all about don't drive under the influence and don't speed but really didn't teach much about driving itself. I feel like it's so much harder to get it when you are older, I didn't want it but my grandma was like: "Ya know you are taking a break before college, you have a free year so you should do it now because you won't have time to do it later." - I am so glad that I did it because my best friend is 23 now, in a college, working on a diploma and barely able to squeeze in driver's licence because over here you first need to go through the classes, than you need to take and pass a test, then you need to find a driving instructor and driving school and have a ton of lessons and then you need to go through the driving test, so it's way better if you do all of that earlier D:

So I clicked on the video and i heard, "So I never really wanted to get my driver's license." And I tried to click full screen, but then i accidentally fast forward to the end. So my sister, who was sitting next to me, thinks that is the whole video. I'm so smart

How you feel about driving is my attitude towards getting a job and stuff. In my high school, everyone goes out of their way to look for a job even though they don't need one. Everyone's excited to drive and get tattoos and stuff. I'm older than a lot of my peers and I don't have those...teenager-ish desires. Sure I want to learn to drive but I'm okay without it. Sure I've worked and I'm okay working when I feel it's absolutely necessary and won't impede with school. I don't need money because I have what I need...(and no I don't leech off my parents. I rarely ask them for anything). And finally, yes I would like a tattoo, or tattoos, at some point in my life. For now though, I'm okay with letting things happen on their own. In short, I can relate to your feelings towards driving because I feel the same about a lot of stuff kids my age look forward to

Rainbow Heda I know. All my friends went to go get a job and my own parents are telling me not to get a job! 😂
@alexplays11126 жыл бұрын
Rainbow Heda i haven't looked for a job either because I really don't need to. It would mess up with my grades anyways so I'd rather not. In a way i relate to your thoughts about the things that teenages want and stuff, i always feel like i usually have a different opinion on those topics.

yeah i never wanted to learn how to drive immediately after i turned 16 either. i thought my mom would get on my ass about it and demand i learn it, but surprisingly she just left it alone. after a while a became a little interested in wanting to learn how to drive, so i got the drivers book, opened it up, took one look at how complicated it was, and i said "nope!" and slammed it shut and i didnt try learning how to drive for another 8 years

When I was in school they did the whole "Don't text and drive" assemblies, and either they stopped doing them or people are to busy texting during them to pay attention because in the span of one week I was nearly hit 5 times in my college's parking lot by some dumb girls who where texting and driving, two of them hit other students cars and had to pay for the damages, another one decided to text while driving on the main road and blew a red light and was T-boned by a semi truck going 50 mph, the police spent one hour looking for her left leg that was severed off in the crash, only to realize that her leg was the red streak on the pavement, she was lucky to survive because she was in a late 90's Toyota Camry

This was basically my exact experience. I felt the same way getting behind the wheel and literally 20 seconds after getting into a car nearly gassed it into my neighbors tree. Driving instructor has the expression of death on his face but just said “oh it’s fine haha.”

I just started driving by myself no parents or anything. I would take my mom's car and drive around because i lived in a rural place so no cops were around and 1 month later I was driving without a license🗿 my driving test was a 5 minute drive around the town (it's a small town) and a bit of parallel parking that was easy because it had cameras. I can't parallel park because I drive a z and it's a big blindspot on wheels
