Amazing! Where is that video? I just moved to Perth, so there is definitely a catch-up planned. Surfing waves is a whole different story🤙

Yeah you are absolutely right! However I started small and confidence is growing. With editing the video I have seen that I was always too cautious🧐

@@Pushment haha I mean it’s always smarter to be cautious then to be brainlessly sending it! You’re making great progress already!

I think there is alot to be said about feeling what is going on. Like exploring the movement by varying the elements. Jumping small allows you to feel what is happening without the fear of the high energy rip off the water. There about 8 different things you need to do to get high and all have to happen in 0.2 of a second. You need time to feel how there elements come together and allow that to be transfered to your subconscious. Never increase the energy of your jumps without obtaining control at lower heights

never go out further than you want to swim , especially in cold water

Thanks for highlighting! In my case it was all shallow water, partly even too flat.

is doing a bankroll easier than comfortably jumping like 3-4m ?
@Pushment
@Pushment 5 ай бұрын
Yes it was to me as the skill is pretty easy to learn once your know the tweaks of how to do it. A routine for 3-4 m and landing safely every time takes more time in my opinion.

Technicals: "edging" is not the same as turning into the wind, its called carving. Know the difference!

Haha, just a little animated seagull. The scene was just so boring so that I've tweaked it a bit:)

@@grguthrie108 Great, totally misunderstood. These are just sun chairs very typical for German coastal areas. You’ll find them both at north and Baltic Sea;)

Cool video. I will test these tips on my next kite trip :D. Where is this spot? Is it Norden in Germany?
@Pushment
@Pushment 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Piotr, thanks and go for it. Hope the tips help you here and there! The spot was Norden, totally right. Did you surf there as well and what jumping level are you at the moment? Cheers

@@Pushment No, I researched the spot basing on the kite school flags I saw on the video and found it on Google Maps :D. That was my guess. I'm from Poland and I usually go kiting in Poland and in different places in Europe. I haven't been kiting in Germany, so I may check this spot someday in the spring or summer. I'm beginner. I started to be independent kitesurfer last year. My jumping level is zero, so I want to learn it this year. :)

@@pwittchen Great, I see. Maybe I should add, that the time frame for surfing during a day is pretty limited due to tidal conditions. However, a great flat water spot and nice people around! Just get in contact with the kite college, so that they can guide you into the sport. Pressing thumbs for your jumping practice and if you need any help/advice just let me know. I am moving this year to Western Australia, so we will most likely not meet. However if you come down to Perth one day let me know. Its always good to be around with people of the same skill level🙏
