This is such an amazing and educational video. The passion Francesco is putting into this lesson is taking over and shows how much he loves doing what he does. Thank you for educating me and helping me out as an artist

Really appreciate you talking about your theory on nmm not just showing mechanical step by step. Great job and beautiful paint job

Thank you so much for sharing this. However, my main challenge is determining where to place light and shadow. For instance, how did you decide on the light's placement and shape at the beginning? I usually position it under the lamp, which helps identify the brightest posint, but I struggle to make it convincingly, which In your case, why did you make it spread like a trident? I can see it work straight away! I really wish you guys could make a video about this technique.

We will do a video on light placement in the future for sure. As for the three lights the reason is that usually metal creates more than one reflection and odd number of reflections looks more natural than an even number. Also observing how metal works in real life is very important

@@kimeramodels Thanks for explaining it, and I can't wait for the video. It's really scary when you have a huge plain surface (like this one) and need to paint it in NMM🥲. literally no idea where to start, so please do make that video focusing on NMM! It will be very helpful.🙏

Hello! I love your view of visible brushstrokes showing the soul of the painter! My question would be how to make my brushstrokes more intentional and to show them without it looking too childish or messy. Thank you!
@kimeramodels3 ай бұрын
It’s a matter of repetition and trying. You can only perfect something that you try many times over. In general the principle is that you either show texture or you show the least amount of strokes needed to make people understand something you want to tell (a light source, a volume and so on). What you decide to show is what represents your painting style

Hi Kimera, please make the video tutorials more affordable! £55 is just too much . Thanks!

No sorry, it’s impossible. A video tutorial of 6 hours it’s not like a free KZbin video of 20 mins. It costs us thousands of euros to make one and we can’t afford to put it cheaper. If you check the masterclasses in traditional art you’ll discover similar or higher prices for similar type of content. Also we use for our tutorials only the best artists that proved their quality by winning the top prizes in the most important contests in the world, unlike others you see out there. If you think about it, paying 12€ for a monthly Patreon of someone that will on average give you a new video a month of 30 mins, 50€ will give you only 2 hours of learning in 4 months instead of 6 hours right away. And on top of that, most of the top artist don't actually have a Patreon because they are too busy becoming even better painters.
