Learning how to solve Rubik’s cube blindfolded (my process, multiple failures) | vlog 14

When I was in high school I was gifted a Rubik's cube by a relative, I learned that I could speed solve Rubik's cube and got really into it. One thing I never did was learn how to blind fold because it seems so intimidating. Fast forwards 14 years, I finally decided learn it. Hopefully I can do complete solve within a month.

for memorizing corners you can make 2 letter pairs each and make a word/name or a place like for example SG KT DM - SinGapore KiTe DoMe (better if u make a story of this) for edges you can also group each letters into 2 letter pairs and memorize them by using audio memorization what I mean is that u pair a letters by twos and just read it like for example you have GR PT MS CA (GaR, PoT, MaS, CA)

Got it. Yeah memorization is really hard but so satisfying when you actually do it.

@@Chris_Lan do a lot of untimed memorization/solves and you will get used to it on ur own letter pairs. 😇

Which algorithms do you use to swap the edges and corners? I am also trying to learn, using 'Old Pochman's method', I believe it's called, and use T-perm for the edges and Y for the corners. Kind of curious if there are other (better?) ways to do it.

I also use T perm to swap corner and Y for corner. I was looking for a better way but I think it is the easiest and most effective way.

Hi mate. Im a speedcuber that after 15 years competing i finally solved the cube blindfolded. Now i have a 3.04 solve. My tips. Use cstimer scrambles for only Edges at the first and repeat scrambles. Write worlds

@@Chris_Lan Using words makes you picture things easier than remembering a random 20 letter sequence. Using those words to create a sentence in your head is also great.
