Every modern air traveler knows the safety warning: “secure your own mask first before helping others.” It turns out this admonition applies to many areas in life beyond the cabins of airplanes. But learning how to take care of oneself first is not something that is taught in nursing school. If it were, perhaps it would significantly curb the burnout in nursing?

heartfelt presentation. love is the strongest of all feelings in the world, by beginning with love for self and transferring it to others. where you know that harm to others is harm to self.
