Learning the Ropes With WRC Driver Jon Armstrong TFZxWRC

I was at Rally Ypres with Team Fordzilla as a guest of M-Sport Ford, to see the cars, drivers and team up close, and to find out more about the touchpoints between the sim and real world. Jon is almost uniquely qualified to talk about this in the Rally space, so he took me out onto a stage during the Recce, to find out how it all works, discuss pace notes and to learn some of the lingo.

Great video. Always nice to watch and listen to conversations like this. It was also fantastic to meet Chris and have a chat at the Ypres service park. I've been talking shop with Jon Armstrong for a while now but never chatted with Chris before. So thanks for that. It was a nice, albeit rather short, conversation as both were quite busy working. Hmmm, so... RBR it's one of the tools of trade for rally... (learn how to slide a car, under steer, over steer)

Can be to learn the basics. Besides, it's not just RBR but also DiRT Rally or other rally titles where you can learn and improve those basic rally driving skills.
