So far the best Premiere Pro beginner tutorial I have watched (and I've watched quite a few). Finally someone who takes the term "beginner" seriously. Presenter doesn't seem to be in a race to get through hours of information in minutes. Doesn't race the cursor around the screen, jumping from one point to another. Actually gives one time to see what he is pointing to AND read the drop downs. Also has chapter descriptions under the progress bar so that one can jump ahead to a particular subject. My only slight complaint is that apparently Adobe has upgraded the program somewhat as The labels above the panels don't EXACTLY match what I am seeing in PP 2024 and I don't get nearly as many transitions in any of the "video transition" categories in the Effects drop down menu. Otherwise, this is the most helpful tutorial pretty much on any subject I have ever watched. David seems to be a born teacher.

Absolutely fantastic course with attention to detail. Been in the Academia industry for decades, and the teaching methodology is spot on. Everything is made as clear as possible. Points are reviewed, recapped and brought back into play, keeping in mind that students will forget what was done 4 hours ago. I was actually a little sad at the end, and that's saying something. 👍 I would pay for a section that goes beyond advanced, perhaps showing advanced workflows and use cases, including addressing problems that can arise through editing eg. syncing. Dynamic Link with Audition is a prominent part of Premiere projects. AI and plug-ins that are making some of the fundamental processes even easier. I would pay for an 'In-depth Advanced' course. Beautiful course, delivered in digestible sections that make a relatively daunting software approachable. 👏

I am watching this video in year 2024. I have followed your instruction on premiere pro 2024 though the software works the same. Only Auto Text transcription and Auto Audio ducking sections are missing. I will suggest that at the end of this series there should be another link referring to 2024 premiere pro AI features. overall, this video tutorial is outstanding and I will rate it 10/10 and is best video tutorial available on entire KZbin. Hats off for offering it for free.

1:27:33 In. The selected in & out duration is 7:24 long. The source is 8:17 long. How do you know where the 7:24 being cut out of your 8:17 long source is going to be taken out of the source? Is it taken from the start of the source for 7:24 or does it take the ending 7:24 of the source clip?

It's very difficult to follow your instructions of how to import files because on your computer they were in recent files but this is not the case on my computer. I have big trouble in opening them like you do. For example, when opening the file of Explore SF it opens withing my current project and it's not appearing as a second project alongside the first project. Hope that what I am trying to convey is clear.

Hi Dave Excellent tutorials. Premier pro made easy. But, I have an issue, I am using the latest 2023 version, When I move the clip from source to Timeline, the top half of video is not visible. Hi i am 2 hour and a half minutes in and I am having difficulty where when I record right from primier pro i hear a distorted echo sound... but when i record out of primier pro it's ok... how do i fix this problem? Sounds as if like i am holding my microphone over with my hand... sounds terrible.. how do i fix it? It's all fine when i do it out of primier pro and cut and paste but....
