It's not the end of the world, if you're in a wheelchair. There, are some dances, that can be performed in a wheelchair. I know how you feel, although I don't really need to use a wheelchair, only a walking frame, but it's still disability. :) Wish you all the best!

I still remember the first time I danced waltz properly, it was magical. On the shores of vistula, a modern city towering over me and the cold wild waters below my feet. The sky over me was covered in stars as I slowy did the box step, trying not to stumble on the sand. It would've been the most romantic thing I've ever done except... I danced it with a buddy of mine cuz my crush ditched me

They did a great job. In a beginner video, they did the male and female parts seperately, then together. During the video of them dancing, one could see both sets of feet moving to his count. And- he explained the 'up' and 'down' element to the waltz which no one explains!! Great job!! And all in 5 minutes!! Actual waltz music one might hear ballroom dancing might have helped- but great job!
@pinkishhaven51584 жыл бұрын
Guys, girls love it when you can sweep us off our feet with these kinds of dances. It both comes as surprise, and very romantic. We all know that part Where I come from, people seem to have forgotten these dances (only preserving them for "fancy" parties which also comes rarely, and even then the slow dances come random, penguin waddle movements). So if I ever meet a guy who can dance like the classics, I'd be interested for sure. I don't like the modern sweet dance where everyone waddled like penguins (from experiences in prom, everyone did just that)
@smithy15783 жыл бұрын

I am to dance with my granddaughter at her wedding next month. I've known their wedding date for over a year so I've had plenty of time to go through my extensive digitized song library to find a song. My favorite music is doo wop and as I was listening to a song called "You're Not Too Young" by Charles McCullough & The Silks (rare and very unusual!) I realized that it is in 3/4 time - which means it a waltz! The song seemed appropriate (she's 26) and I really like it - but I've never waltzed in my life - and neither has she. So here I am - seeing If I/we can pull it off. Let the practicing begin!

Don't forget to monetize them!

A dear friend of mine taught me some basic dances at age 24, which is pretty late for someone who grew up in a small village in Northern Germany, since it's traditionally done at age 16 for confirmation lessons (but since I never been baptised, I obviouslly wasn't confirmised neither back then). Now, I personally prefer the Discofox just a bit over the waltz, because it's a bit more fun to me, but still: Said friend basiclly just saying "we gonna start by teaching you the waltz" before doing so in a schoolyard while we where in job training with no music what so ever and all while having some people unfamiliar with the dynamics of our friendship commenting on the pure randomness of it all is quiet the precious memory. Btw: Her teaching me Discofox was just as fun: because she just basiclly walked up to me, said a very similar thing to the waltz line and we dance Discofox in the barn of her family's farm moments later (and judging by another friend, who just watched as it all went down, it didn't look half bad which actually makes me feel proud for some reason)... I always wanted to learn the waltz with another friend of mine back when I was 16, but we had a falling out before we really ever did that and so I always told myself I never wanted to learn to dance, because I wouldn't have enjoyed it anyways, turns out: I actually enjoy dancing a whole lot and it's somewhat fitting that I learned it from someone who I just share this great chemistry with, and we basiclly did from the day we first met, just one year ago... So yeah, seems like evrything in life will turn out right at some point
