Sorry guys Hinduism is a religion At its core is that reality isn't this physical universe but a spiritual universe. Our spiritual selves are real our physical selves are not. We don't strive to be perfect humans, we strive to be better spiritual beings (our Atma's enlightened with ultimate truth & elevate our existence to a place of Nirvana [happiness & bliss with no suffering]. Also bhakti needs explanation. 4 paths to Dharma [a state of discipline & duty] - path of bhakti [devotion to God] - path of karma [selfless action] - path of jnana [knowledge] - path of all three Dharma is a discipline & duty thru which we can then journey to Nirvana..without Dharma we can't complete the journey to ultimate knowledge & to join with the universe (2 consciousness into one)

Sanatan Dharm is definitely not a sectarian identity nor it is about becoming whatever we are supposed to be/materialism. Vedas, Upanishads explain and answer what we are who we are, the eternal truth, relevant in every age, and every Dharmic religion talks about it but their further explanations and practices differ. I would suggest to dig deeper it's very fascinating, you will feel the bliss.

Someone was asking that what caste will they be in if they convert to Hinduism. I will answer it based on scriptures although Hindu Dharm is not a religion but a way of life and everybody knows that. So, if you're a Teacher, a professor, a scientist, a researcher or anybody who shares knowledge then you are a Brahmin. If you're a politician, a government official, a policeman, an army official or soldier then you're a Kshatriya. If you are a Businessman, a shopkeeper or anyone who works in a business, then you're a Vaishya. And finally if you're a driver, a waiter, a servant, a sweeper then you're a shudra. Now Dalits are nowhere mentioned in the Vedas and this Varna is later introduced by people. But still, if you're a Butcher or you just kill animals and then sell animal products then you're a dalit. This is what Dalit is and the source for definition of dalit is from "The Wire" which is an anti-hindu organisation. And I haven't ever discriminated conciously but now I think I have discriminated against dalits according to this definition because as soon as I happen to go by a butchers shop I just close my nostrils and try to stay away same with fish-sellers etc because I'm a vegetarian (and everyone is adviced to be vegetarian in Hindu way of life although it's a choice even in Hinduism..., it's just adviced). Now would you like to tell me which Varna will you belong to if you converted to Hinduism??? And yeah I think they also asked "Who should be their god according to Hinduism." So my answer is: Your god should be "Allah". What the fuck do you mean by who should be your god? Worship whoever you want. Hinduism don't force gods on anyone. Worship Buddha, Worship Jesus worship anyone.... Really bro...? I haven't expected the second question if you are a sensible person. I request everyone to save this answer by pinning it to clipboard after copy pasting it by scanning through Google Lens (or directly from youtube on website or laptop), so that you can use it in future. I am not some knowledgeable in this field and what I wrote is my thinking..(I think too much).., Make changes as necessary.

In a civilization, you are a part of that civilization so, you are a hindu. and everyone knows that Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains are all Hindus one must understand that followers of Abraham WHO LIVE IN HINDUSTAN (the land of sindh) are also hindu.

​@@SatyamSingh-fm2bnsure but then don't start claiming that Hindus should not eat this or that or should say Jai shree ram etc. Hinduism is a religion in its current form, it could have started however but right now it imposes certain way of life or at least the religious leaders claiming to be leaders do. I quite hate the concept of claiming every one is a Hindu by living in India because it aligns with your own identity. I am a Hindu but I don't see any region to change nationality of Indian or Bharatiya to mean practicing of Hinduism or anymore than saying everyone living in US or UK should be a Christian.

You can't call me kafir/mushrik and treat me like animals. What the current religious leaders are behaving like.... is called the defence mechanism and it has always been an important part of India. The same person acted like Brahmins in Ancient times, and the same person is acting more like Kshatriya in recent times. We modify ourselves according to the requirements and that's why we still exist.
