Happy to hear you’re doing better Travis. Definitely a sobering experience as men tend to age and think more about our mortality. Thank you for sharing the insight !

Wow! I am very relieved for you and your family! Very sobering video. I probably have around 20 years on you, and I have some insight into what you felt after two hospitalizations and a major surgery this summer (GI tract stuff, not cardiac but was critical at one point). All good now. I also availed myself of top hospitals and physicians. A true story from a friend of mine from many years ago is almost frighteningly (in a good way) similar to what you had said in your video. In fact, my head snapped back. A heart valve (I forget if it was a pig's or artificial) with a 10-year useful life remained much longer and the surgeon in the local hospital of the town where I live near NYC said, "Oh, well, you know, it's really a very difficult job . . ." etc. My friend then went to one of the top surgeons in one of the three top medical centers in Manhattan. That Manhattan surgeon (in part) agreed: Referring to the small town surgeon, the Manhattan surgeon said, "He is correct. It is a very difficult job. For HIM! Not for me!" Another example: my dad (RIP) broke his you-know-what working until he was 75 y/o. He needed a left-reverse total shoulder replacement. Went to a top hospital in Manhattan and had the Chief Physician for the NY Yankees do the surgery. Titanium rod, new socket, etc. all shoved in there and - no exaggeration - not a single visible mark remained on his skin. You would never know he had the surgery and it was the only part of his body after that: (1) worked as it should; and (2) was pain-free. May God continue to bless you and your family! I look forward to more content from you.

Thank you so much Michael! Glad to hear you are doing well after your own battles recently! Those stories really do relate and it shows that finding the right doctors\surgeons can make all the difference. With the way technology is advancing, hopefully more people have access to such high levels of support on the first go-around here soon. Thank you again and so glad this is behind me. Not fun at all. More content is on the way! I cannot wait! Have a great weekend!

I'm one of the guys that bugged you for an update. Thanks so much for this new video. Your description of how you felt with the PVC's/pounding heart, the anxiety, fear of death, being afraid of the future... is 100% right on. I'm at this point right now, and currently wearing a monitor, similar to the one you first wore. I've already done a successful ablation for afib 8 years ago so I'm well aware of how it should go, however I'm now living in a much smaller city and I highly doubt the Dr's have the same expertise. Only someone with heart issues can understand how keyed in you are to your own heart rhythm, I hope and look forward to the day when I've forgotten how it feels. Btw, meds aren't working for me either, but I'm now on anxiety medication so hopefully that will work to quell the fear and anxiety a bit. Thanks again for sharing your journey.

Glad to share and I hope you reach that point as well. I live in a small city as well and had to travel back and forth a ways to get to Ann Arbor. It was worth it. Hopefully, you can find the right place within a manageable distance and this is a distant memory soon! Best wishes and hang in there. When I was having really bad episodes, I jumped on the treadmill. Cardio seemed to quickly get it back in-line in case that helps you out.

First, I hope they figure this out and it becomes a distant memory. Second, I know it is hard to see the positives, but at least you are young and strong. This makes fixing this much more achievable. Do everything you can to get your health in the best place and see how your body responds. (Hydrate well, eat healthy, avoid caffeine, keep exercising) as long as doctors agree. I wish you the best and hang in there!

I have afib and I’ve had 3 ablations that didn’t work… sometimes it just doesn’t respond to it… long story short I still deal w afib daily. I’ve gone to 2 different drs and specialist… done the medication nothing worked

So sorry to hear that. I can't imagine the stress of constantly thinking about your health and if you are okay. Are they able to control it via medication?
