I might’ve missed it in the video, but what was the reason for topstitching each collar piece separately? Also this is my new fave series I can’t wait for the pattern 😊

So the reason was just cosmetic basically. I found that when topstitching the two collars together, one side always gets messier or at least is prone to get messy. But since the collar will get glued together anyways, they don’t need the topstitches to keep them together, so I opted to do them separately and glue them together later 👍🏻

@@des_des_00 the x is the German pronounciation of „ch“, like in „Achtung“, maybe you can Google the word (attention) and listen to it, to hear the ch ☺️ but honestly it’s fine to say Kah-chee, I am well aware of how unpronounceable German for many people is so no worries!! ☺️
