Great to see some good ol' craftsmanship in a world of mostly mass-produced goods. That goes for Stony and his stunning shots too. It's cool to see talented people sharing their passion. Good work guys. :) - Chris

I like how you fold and stitch the corners, that really cleans up the profile. Way more stylish that the open bottom method that mass producers use.

It's really nicely done. I especially like the new ideas, the sewn over edges and the button. I mean anyone else would just have made a wetmold and a snap button, me included. I also want to get into leather work and recently started hand sewing. But I don't know where to find the right leather.

New to this channel, really like that you show case the item on the belt. Don’t really see to much of that and I’m sure it’s just me. I found a love for leather working and really enjoy the builds. I am looking to sell eventually and I like asking others what platforms do you sell from. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas. That multi tool pouch is nice!

Great work, well thought out sheath. It looks like it will age well. I would pay $50 for quality like that.

Beautiful work and as always thank you for sharing the videos. I really like the button stud idea. I'm building a plier multitool sheath for a friend and have been tossing around ideas for retention other than the snap buttons, but hadn't thought about button studs, those are great and should last a good while. As for price, it's really hard to tell in today's age of something for nothing consumers. Everyone is so conditioned to buy disposable goods for cheap. There are a few of us out there that still recognize the time and skill it takes to make heirloom quality goods, bet we are few and far between. It's well worth $75 or more, but realistically I think more people would be willing to spend $30-40 which is sad. Throw one out for $60 and see how they do.

$75 USD. That will be how People in my country will price for handmade leather good. Really love your leather work.
@FarEastSurvival8 жыл бұрын
hey great job. I like your work. I also recently made a sheath for a multitool but your is more impressive for sure. as a suggestion you might want to use oiled leather for gear that is meant for the outdoors. It will repel water and dirt better over time. I think you could easily charge $50 or more for this sheath.

Did you do a vid on the tools you use ? I got a set (or partial set) of tools from and estate sale, but it would be nice to see what the essential tools are for what you are doing. A discussion about the materials would be nice as well - what you like and why and what you don't and why. Great leather work Krik and great vids Stony - you guys make a great team - thanks...

Very nice work great quality. For pricing you have to look for to the market, there are loads online some are rubbish low cost, but now on etsy that are loads of very high quality handmade tooled leather ones like this, similar quality so you need to price it inline with those. People who follow and support you will pay a little more, and others will compare the market. I think people would be interested if there was a range of products that are all in the same style like this so you can collect a matching set for your belt :)

Where do you buy your leather from?
@preparedsurvivalist22458 жыл бұрын
You should see if you can get a bunch of multitools on sale or for bulk pricing, and INCLUDE the tool with the sheath. Then you could charge like $99 and people would jump at it since they get the tool too. Sometimes you can charge more and sell more units when you do packaged deals.

Wow, very nice work! I have the Boker City 4 Multi Tool, and I believe that your sheath would fit my multi tool, or vice versa. I am not committing to purchasing a sheath from you at this time, but I do need a sheath for the multi-tool, and I like the one that you designed, so sooner or later I need to get one. I can use my Boker with the clip for now if I want to do so. What do you think your asking price would be? I am sure that others would like to own one too. By the way, I would not be in a hurry, as my Boker is sitting in its case on my bureau, so there is no rush, and you could take your time.
@BlackOwlOutdoors8 жыл бұрын
Yes the 4 would fit in this sheath. But it's thinner than the 7 (less tools), so it wouldn't be as tight. But this size and design will probably go for around $65.
@msilverhammer8 жыл бұрын
Actually the Boker Plus Tech-Tool City 4 has many tools, depending on how you count, so the name is misleading. Click on the descriptive link below. I am not sure why they use that naming convention? Anyway, thanks for replying, and this goes on my Christmas list. www.boker.de/us/pocket-knife/boker-plus/tech-tools/01BO806.html

I would say $49.95 Cdn, would be nice to have a clip on the back instead of a belt loop as some of us don't wear belts... suspenders.

That is some really fantastic work. If you're wanting to get some honest pricing ideas, talk to Justin Wolfe over at the grierwolfe channel. He's been in the business for a very long time and would have a better idea of what that'd be worth on the open market. Personally, I'd be willing to pay 40+ for it.
