Leather vs Silicone MagSafe Cases.. Which one is better?

Still grabbing terrible deciding. I wanna stand out with that California Poppy colour but at the same time I wanna get that blue silicon case since it’s my favourite colour.

The Baltic blue leather is very close to the deep navy silicone 😁 haha but I think California Poppy is next level professional and hot lol

the thing with leather tho is that it "heals". i've dropped my black leather case so many times and they get scuffed but they heal over time

Lol I agree, the leather looks totally fine if you drop it whereas the silicone is left with chunks missing sometimes haha the best thing to do is not drop your phone 😆

None get fingerprints but the silicone case is a lint magnet! The outer edge of the iPhone 12 itself is the only thing that fingerprints up. Cases are good!

Had both now and the leather is amazing after a good couple weeks, I would change to a different one but by the end of day the leather would be back on and no I’m using silicone case and idk it’s a toss up the leather in my mind I think is totally worth it the silicone could be a little cheaper, both feel amazing and the bottoms are better on the leather

I just ordered a 12 with a silicon case and was starting to regret my choice but I’ll stick with it and see how it goes. I have been running an iPhone 7 with leather case since launch and after nearly 5 years the case is just starting to ware to nothing on the corners

I really like both of them. They are easily my favorite cases. The silicone case will get more beat up overtime but it feels so grippy and nice! And you will be okay whichever case you get, since I can see that you take care of your items 👍🏽👍🏽 5 years is impressive lol

Ok so I’m on day 2 of the silicon case and I HATE it.. Ii feels cheap, sticky rather than grippy.. hard to get your pocket.. picks up dirt, hair, crumbs.. I can’t live with it

I want the California poppy one but I’m worried it will get stained in my jeans pocket while I’m at work. Have you had any issues with it?

Apple says “Exposure to water, oil, makeup, and dyed materials (such as denim) can stain tanned leathers.” I wear jeans all the time and never had this problem though. I’d say, just make sure you wash your brand new jeans once or twice before you wear them to avoid the chance of the color bleeding 😎

Hello from America 🇺🇸 😁 the silicone one definitely gets more beat up than the leather. If you drop it on the street, you’ll see the silicone rip up lol but that’s what a case is supposed to do, it takes the damage that your phone would’ve taken. My last silicone case took some hits but it lasted over a year til I was ready to get a new phone anyway 👍🏽
