Its for a customer the cost for the dash top[ is £900. the centre console video will be out on Sunday.

Can I be cheeky and ask you I have a mk2 escort dashboard that I am recovering do I need to strip the old cover off before I put the new on I have a can of spray glue that I bought with the leatherette the cover that’s on now is only coming adrift and small cracks at the bottom edges

Before you do the work you should check out these 2 videos, the first one will explain the glue that you should use(6 mins 40 seconds in) and the prep (5 mins in)if you are going to glue over the original vinyl that is on the dash kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmnOqWeKmZadmrc and the second one will show you how to remove the vinyl that is on the dash kzbin.info/www/bejne/r36cp59opM2Liac but there is a good chance you have the wrong glue and the vinyl will not stay on the dash even if you remove the original cover, RE first video.
