I never bought the Kick and now sorta wish I had… that Zytel grip thing didn’t appeal to me when they released it… but after a while, it looks more comfortable than I thought it would be back then.

Good minimalist multitool. The tools don't lock but pop into place securely. I carry mine in my hip pocket with a belt clip attached to the lanyard ring.

Just picked up a lightly used kick off eBay for $70 WITH a pocket clip! Tools are in near mint condition and I can see this thing getting some decent pocket time.

found a Kick with the sheath in a box of forgotten stuff when I was moving. I also found a Supertool, not a 200 or 300 and a Micra. I remember the Micra because the blades for the scissors only come together at the tip, there is a visible gap from just behind the point down to the base. The Kick looks like it's never been out of the sheath.

The kick is my first full sized leatherman MT. I bought it in japan in 2011. Its my favorite edc. I mostly use the philipps driver and pliers so this MT is perfect for me. After a few years i replaced it with my skeletool. Then i 2020 i started carrying my Free P2. It has easy access to the philipps , pliers and also scissors 😅

Still kicking myself for not grabbing a Knifeless Fuse when I had the chance. Glad to hear you come around to the old school wire cutters. I always found it odd how much clamoring there was for replaceables, when they reduced the pliers grip space and put the onus for repair on the owner. I suppose I would feel differently if Leatherman included a replacement pair standard.

If you like the kick, you'll love the blast. Not much bigger, more tools and they lock.

I have a kick! It was given to me years ago. It's never been used and the only leatherman I've ever owned.

The bit driver mod on your Bond is pretty cool. What did you take it off of and how many tools did it replace?

The Bond scares me a little because the knife blade is slightly loose for the first little bit of travel meaning the tip can stick up just enough to stab the user.
