I also got one when they were $100 not to long ago. A review will be coming, but I will say that the way they did the clip and the one hand opening blade really seems like something that was just slapped on rather then taking the time to make it nice.

Hands down one of the best plier based multitool ever made 🙌

I recently got a new one and omfg this thing now is butter smooth to open! The quality of Victorinox is sooo good and now it's even better. The new one is defenitely my favorite multitool of all. I enjoy it more than the arc since i also carry a folder in my sling.

I got mine during the exact same sale, and got it about a week ago. I love it. My only gripe is that it’s hard on the nails, especially the scissors.

I think it was about 107.00 on Amazon, on Black Friday…by the time i found out, it went up to 115.00…i left it in my cart for a few weeks, and ordered one after xmas…took longer to get, but did get it less than 2 weeks. Notice that seller isn’t selling them anymore, but did get it for 115.00

I bought a spirit x with the tool kit at Xmas. My pliers are exactly the same. 😊

I love the MX clip easily my favorite to pocket carry and nothing compared to its quality.

I wish it had a longer blade, it has always surprised how the wave is actually shorter than spirit, but it has a way longer blade

I had an older version, and it was opening smoothly. You can find Victorinox bit driver with ratchet.

It’s a fantastic multitool. I prefer to carry the MX Clip instead (the larger model) because of the scissors and ruler. I’m not the biggest fan of the scissors on the spirit model.

I really like the Spirit but the one hand opening doesn’t seem well thought out as it can be an issue with their own sheaths. I wish Victorinox would update it with a bit driver, even a 4mm one would work. The blade steel definitely needs updating to but that’s not a huge concern for me. An update could easily make this the best smaller multitool on the market.

I'd argue that it probably is still the best medium multitool on the market. None of the big brand multitools (LM/Vic/Gerber/SOG) have a 1/4 in or rmm bit driver on them, and I'd argue that the Phillips and flat drivers on this are definitely better than the ones on the Free Series, and arguably better than the slim profile bits on the Wave etc. With a Leatherman with a bit driver you still have to carry those separately in the holder which takes up almost as much space as the Vic bit kit with the driver. Add the LM extension or ratchet and you might as well just carry a dedicated small driver instead as it takes up the same amount of space. So as a one and done multitool I'd say this is the best out there.

I love my normal Victorinox Spirit, but the fact I need to use my finger nails to access the tools kills it for me. I wear gloves just about all the time at work, so it becomes hard to get the tools out without removing them, which feels like it ruins the point for me as I could just have a dedicated tool in a pocket and take that out instead. But the quality itself is crazy compared to my Leatherman Skeletool. It's with said predicament that I'm looking at Roxon Flex and their one hand opening of their tools.

See, I have the opposite experience. My older spirit X, the tools are easy to pull out but my Mx clip is a lot harder. Especially the pliers As far as it being better than the Arc, the knife on the Arc wins, the free technology wins but I do like all the tools on the Victorinox better. Leathermans wire cutters are better. I don’t like the notch in the Victorinox cutters. I’d rather just have a larger cutting surface.
