Just a heads up, GM redesigned the seat clip which is used to recline the seat forward and found to the rear of the headrest. In the video you reinstalled the old flimsy ones which came with the original seats. Awesome video I'll be doing this soon to my Z06.

Having owned both a 2007 Z51 convertible and a 2012 Grand Sport Convertible, I will tell you that the new seats are LIGHT-YEARS better than the old ones. They will hold you better purely by virtue of having more material/foam in the right places. I'm thinking I may have to get this for my father and his '09 Z06!

The new 2012 Sport Seat foam is actually a HUGE improvement in comfort and lateral support over the old C6 Sport and Standard base bucket seats!

I have manual passenger seat. I am assuming that isn't a problem since the leather is not precut for the power switch plate trim. Can the marks just be cleaned off?

Do you offer perforated alcantara inserts? I like the alcantara look but am concerned about breathing issues.

We can perforate the Alcantara. Perforation is primarily a cosmetic feature and does not really help with the breathability of leather or synthetic suede. This is because most upholstery is backed with fairly dense sew foam. The upholstery with foam backing is then installed onto the foam core of the seat which is usually several inches thick. So once you sit in the seat, there is very airflow or cooling that occurs unless you have installed seat coolers.
