One of my homies had a long term relationship end because his girl felt hurt that he wouldn't post her on social media or interact with her. She wanted a #couplesgoals social media type relationship, but he didn't care about that type of shit. And in the beginning, she didn't care about that type of shit as well. But her brain got rotted from the trend and the rest when crashing down. So yeah, there definitely are people out their who seek external validation of their relationship from social media
