God had to literally break me down in order for me to leave my old life. I had to leave my apartment and move back with my family. I had to get really sick, go through warfare, and had to leave my old life. My old life style. Because I could not live another day without God. I noticed he was the source of my life. I grew such a deep love for him, I couldn’t help but want to live the rest of my life for him. He has changed me inside out. I was living a life of homosexuality and it was so toxic for me when I look back at it. I was living only for myself. Even though I was still Christian, I was severely lukewarm. My gosh, it was the toughest season I had to go through and the hardest thing I’ve had to do in my life. But I’m so thankful for it. So incredibly happy God did what he did, and what he’s still currently doing in me.

This is so true about not leaving your "job" to do God's work. I minister right where I work: Publix Supermarkets...you don't have to travel to the other side of the world to be a missionary. ✨🙌✨🌎✨☝✨💖✨

I can relate to you, last December I resigned from my work because God is telling me to focus in my ministry and since I am working in a BPO company, my schedule is not fixed. So I decided to follow what God is telling me, and to focus in evangelism and outreach. It wasn’t easy at first, most of my family don’t understand me because they’re not christian but God has been so faithful to me since then, until now I don’t have a job, but there is no better job when God is using you to bring souls to Him. ❤️

Through a series of major life changes and ultimately the sudden and unexpected death of my husband, my world was rocked. A ministried director, church treasurer, picked up our lives to be closer to aging parents...all the right things in what we believed ...we were called to do. When my husband died and I called to God "show me what I am supposed to Do" He said to me... "be still....and know.... know that I Am God." Out of my comfort zone of "doing" for the Lord and for a season being "still' in His presence. Allowing Him in His time to mold me and make me thru this time of 'obscurity". God is good. Thank you Padtor for the continual deeds of truth. May your audiences allow those seeds to germinate and grow strong in the Lord.

Amen 🔥. YAAASSSS This is so true. I was stuck in a state of comfort for a few years after accomplishing life goals I had previously set. It took a devastating event to pull me out of my comfort zone and walk into my calling. I was so convinced my life was over and I was being punished. But the bible reminds us that ‘All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose’. What a difference a year makes. Forsaking comfort allowed me to walk into multiple opportunities, blessings and purpose. Amen amen amen 🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥

You're welcome. You have to be willing to seek Christ for guidance and walk in obedience to his instructions. Your obedience will be your conformation. Do not allow distractions (facts of life, friends, family) to deter you from what God is instructing you to do. You will question your actions but pray without ceasing and stay in tune with God. Out of your discomfort will come your blessings. Walk in it my dear. YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!!!!! I am praying for you :).

Thank you for your story. I am going through the same thing too. I am torn between leaving my current job when this gives me the comfort I want. But God is telling me to quit and follow discomfort for there He is waiting to give me what is meant for me. I just have a problem trusting Him 😭 but thank you for your story this change my mind too.

aiden borja Glad I was able to help. The greatest thing about trusting God is that he sees beyond our tomorrow. Continue to seek him for wisdom and guidance. I was convinced last school year that I needed to transfer to another school because of how the enemy tried to bring me down the year before. But during devotion the Lord spoke to me and said it’s not my time to go, but rather to apply for a supplemental position that was being offered by the district, within the school. Keep in mind I was at a comfort zone never doing anything other than teaching in the classroom, but always encouraging others to go for more while I helped in the background. I walked in obedience, spoke to my principal and applied. I did the worked, went in for the interview with a panel and received the position over 5 other candidates from my school (including the enemy that was a thorn in my side trying to bring me down). Not only did I start this school year with a new supplemental position, God has also removed all those negativity to transfer to another school. I spent last school year secluded and in constant devotion, I rise in the middle of the night to seek God, I turned to Him first for guidance. The tragic event that caused me grief and anxiety at the beginning of last school year, the discomfort during the past two years at work pushed me closer to God. Pushed me out of my comfort zone and on a path of a higher level and a chance to share the works of God with others. I prayed for you my dear. Be blessed 🙏🏾💕

So I think I’ve been dealing with recently about stepping out of my comfort zone. Like I thought I already did in what God showed me to step out of, but apparently those areas were not thee specific area He was calling me out of. I scrolled down my KZbin feed to hear some encouraging words to uplift me, when actually I got correction and direction. The minute Pastor Steven Furtick said it’s almost like Abraham, I was shocked. I felt lead to that scripture of God calling Abraham to leave his family and native land and go where God is calling him to. This message has given me confirmation. Lord give me strength, but it’s time to step out of my comfort zone. Thank you Pastor Steven Furtick. You have know idea how many times I get on KZbin and boom!....you preach on a topic of what I’m needing or going through. Stay Blessed❤️

"Fear is an ally to faith" Thank you for that wisdom. God gave me the gift of music. For years I used it within the walls of my home out of fear. Last year God showed me that the same fear that withheld me from my calling. Would be something to be grateful for later in my calling. In my country the biggest trap for people who lead worship is pride(something I fear). The fear will always remind me that I can't do it in my own strenght. So it will be easier to stay humble on the stage. Next month I am going to a worship school the thought scares me but gives me peace at the sam time. Because I won't be doing it in my own strenght.

Your message made me think, I keep trying to figure out my calling but this message made me see that I’m afraid of what’s uncomfortable and what I need to do is step out of what’s comfortable and put all my trust and faith in God and my calling will reveal it self to me and I won’t have to figure out my purpose in life. May God continue to grant you favor and bless you.

I strongly agree with you Pastor. I'm now in the process of God's confrontation in my life, it's not easy but I know I'll get through it. I know He has a greater plan for me that's why He's molding me into my calling for Him. I'd rather have confrontation with God than comfort with the devil.

If we simply point people to Jesus’ finished work and the rest that is in him then they will come into a place of internal silence where we can hear Gods voice. It can only be heard resting and we can only rest when we stop trying to do and be and make this happen or that happen and know that God is still on his throne and he loves us dearly and his plans for us are beyond what we could imagine. Some might even say super abounding above and beyond all we could ever think.

Ahhh “The comfort zone” feels good for a while but time goes fast and before you know it you forgot about your dreams. You will never build muscle without pain. I found what works for me is to reverse engineer we’re you want to go, start with the end and work your way backwards. Always ask God for guidance. Habakkuk 2: Write the vision make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
