Sometimes a drink is something to do to start a night. Other times it is a way to relax. And other times a way to meet new people and be somewhere. That is how it begins for social drinkers who find themselves by themselves more often then not. As for binging -- that, I think, happens when something got in the way. Something got in the way of NC.

Alcohol is legal because of prohibition. And I guess it sucks to be where you're at, move to a legal state where you dont pay 45$ for a gram of trimmings. I have 2 herb plants growing in my backyard and I am also an alcoholic drug abusing polyaddict. It's not that black and white for some, many alcoholics smoke bud as well as it's great for hangovers. Weed+an opiate every morning and it's almost like you didnt even remotely posion yourself

Even knowing that the end should be sad, when I watched it for the first time, I wanted, I rooted for him to save himself from alcohol and the two of them ended up together taking care of each other, this could happen in real life, but in the film, for it to become dramatic, it would have to end sadly, with his death.
