I'm a Mormon watching this and I am so confused and struggling so much. I just want the truth. I desperately do not want God to say "depart from me, I know you not." That's my motivation on my faith journey. Please pray for me. I need God and Christ. I need to know the truth. My salvation depends on it.

I pray that you find the truth! The truth of the infinite, almighty God, the first and last. Don’t lean on your feelings, lean on the word. Like mentioned in the interview, begin with reading the New Testament all the way through without putting LDS goggles on before you do. May the Lord bless you on this journey ❤️

I left Mormonism last year. I’ve lived in Utah most of my life. The last 10 years I was miserable, lonely, anxious and was suicidal. July 2023, I dropped to my knees and asked God to help me… that was the day I was finally going to take my life. BUT GOD. Now I’m living in the South, God moved my family away. Im born again. All the glory be to Him that saves. Thank you Jesus.

I find the born again movement very fascinating. They say one's character and actions in life do not matter as long as you bring Jesus into your life and confess Him. Fair enough no doubt. A good thing to strive for. Here's the interesting side to that - they absolutely ridicule LDS people and Joseph Smith's character and actions up and down. I once had a member of Adam's Road (Lynn Wilder's son's former group) tell me that if hitler had said "I confess Jesus is my Lord" at the end of his life, he would have complete and full salvation no questions asked. They then said "If mother Theresa had not uttered that phrase, she would go to hell." To all reading this - there must be at least some responsibility in one's salvation as they walk closely next to Jesus Christ. Words alone do not have the power to build commitment to Jesus Christ.

@@rugby4lifenone615 I completely agree with you. Our behavior & actions, our example of our Faith definitely affects our Salvation. Responsibility is definitely a must in our life even among the Secular. Example, most employers that I've witnessed will fire their employee IF they are involved with a crime of theft &/or murder. Even disrespectful behaviour can deem one not suitable as a employee for said Company. Thats just to name a few examples of the importance of character & responsibility as a Law abiding, decent to Yeshua like brethen. Peace be with us all 🙏. "Isa"

@@rugby4lifenone615 The bible teaches that if we put our faith and trust in Jesus (WHO IS GOD) and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord we will be saved. You don't have to do any good works as your good works are as filthy rags before God Isaiah 64:6. There is NO amount of good deeds that can help you merit salvation. The bible also tells us that when we believe in Jesus we receive a changed heart and our desires begin to change. We desire to do the things that please God hence we are able to do good works and these works act as a proof of our faith that we are truly saved Philippians 2:13. So if your faith in Jesus isn't bearing the fruits of works, then you never truly believed in Jesus. That is the TRUTH of the BIBLE. Dear friend, please read your bible. It is consistent and true.

I had some doubts about my faith in Mormonism growing up. The things we did and going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. I personally always felt unworthy and could never please God. Also asked to do things I didn’t want to do. I relied only on my feelings about the Book of Mormon. Of course I felt good about it. But there was always a void. I stopped going to church for a while and at age 35 I was trying to go back to the ward in my area. I wanted God but God had other plans. I started to hear the word of God and started reading the Bible. I decide not to pursue going back to the Mormon church and focus on my relationship with God in my home. God met me not in a church but at home. I started encountering him daily. He started transforming me. I knew I was saved by his grace and that Jesus fulfilled everything for me. What a relief!!!

This is the absolute opposite of what God wants us to experience. We should never feel like we have to always please Him or He will hate us. The Wilders definitely share this message and it's false. I feel such light and peace in my life when I steer clear of messages that are meant to create doubt and cast aspersions. The most important thing that we can do is to pursue things that will help us to uphold good values, build our inner light and build our inner happiness.

Always feeling unworthy is so common in the mormon church. Last year a faithful active mormon got up and bore his testimony about how one day he hopes he's good enough for the savior to be saved. I was saddened by his hope given how many years he faithfully served as a bishop and I was an executive secretary to him. The guy is a genuinely great person, I hated the fact that there's still this uncertainty looming over him that he feels of returning to God and Christ. That is not a loving heavenly father that wants us to feel that at any point. I began to see this trend and went deeper in to deconstructing my belief in my lifelong faith of the mormon church(born and raised, served mission, married in temple, kids baptized). I no longer feel that uneasy feeling of unworthiness and have shed much anxiety and stress that I've carried my whole life.

@@pneuma_23-rb4dx A few thoughts on this: It is paramount to have a reassurance and confidence that the chosen path one is on is a good path. Another thought is that the judgment has not occurred yet so we must always remain humble towards God. As a loving Heavenly Father, He is ever so merciful towards our weaknesses and mistakes because of Jesus Christ. We can't ever be complacent towards our mistakes but have a confidence that God still loves His children and wants the best for them.

This will be long, but I want to share it. I was born into the Mormon Church. Served a mission, got married in the temple, my husband blessed our kids into it. Starting in 2019 at the age of 29, I had a series of strange dreams with meanings that didn't seem obvious to me. They included seeing church buildings on fire and trying to escape with my kids, swimming in water with sharks at a church event, but seeing a cross in the distance and being told to run to it. And other strange things. I felt like God was trying to tell me something, but I couldn't understand it because I loved the church and truly believed in it. I believed it was a good thing for myself and my family. Fast forward to about a year ago, and I was serving as a primary president in my ward when I watched this video. It was triggering. Many of your videos were triggering. They made me uncomfortable. Steve Deace's videos affected me the same way at the same time. But as I watched and listened, those dreams began to be illuminated to my mind. I started to understand what I was being warned of in them. I cried to God, telling Him that this was a confusing and hard thing for me and I wanted to know what to do. That night, I had another dream. I was a mormon missionary swimming through a high flood with my companion when I was suddenly bit by something I couldn't see in the water. My companion told me it was one of the invisible sharks, and it had taken a chunk out of my arm. I showed the mission president, other missionaries, and none of them seemed concerned. I was in so much pain and wanted help. No one would help me. The mission president's wife said "You were bit by necromancy. That will never stop hurting you." I cried out "My right arm offends me! I have to cut it off!" Then I woke up. I instantly remembered the dream about swimming with sharks at church and realized what it meant. I understood that all the work I did in the temple, all the mormon doctrine I believed, was rooted in this belief in necromancy. I had been attempting to engage in this relationship with dead people in order to save them, and that was not only offensive to God, but harmful to myself! My eyes have been opened to all of the other offensive and harmful doctrine of the LDS church, and I have left for Christianity. So all of this long post to say.. thank you! You and Steve Deace were instruments in God's call to get me out of this false and dangerous belief system. I can't thank you enough. Praise God!

He was never very invested in Mormonism to begin with. Now he attends with me at our local evangelical church most of the time. He says he believes that Jesus is God, and he asks questions sometimes. But he's not quite at the point of giving Himself to Jesus yet. I'm hopeful that God will continue to work on his heart, and am trying my best to put my faith in God for that. I'm very blessed that at the very least, my husband is supportive and happy for me.

Judge not lest ye be judged. There is no place in the Bible that explicitly says Mormons are not Christian and they are going to hell without needing extrapolation, inference, interpretation or opinion. That said, the most important thing in this life is that we build good relationships, pursue a path that will help us to uphold good values, build our inner light and to build our inner happiness. If those things are met, whatever path we choose the Lord will take care of us.

From the LDS website, "Mormons believe that all men and women ever to be born, including Jesus Christ, lived with God as His spirit children before this life. God wanted each of us to come to earth to gain experience, learn, and grow to become more like Him. But God also knew that His children would all sin, die, and fall short of His glory. We would need a Savior to overcome our sins and imperfections and reconcile us with God. Mormons believe that Jesus Christ was chosen to be this Savior long ago during our premortal life with God." This, along with so many other Mormon beliefs, clearly demonstrates that Mormons worship a different Jesus than the Jesus of Christianity.

I’ve been in your position several times, I get the struggle! It’s no fun. :(. What I will say, is that every single time I was in that doubtful, confused place (which I know Satan was trying to keep me there), God ALWAYS brought about a “divine intervention” (where I knew it was HIM, not a coincidence) to remind me that He had seen me struggling with doubt and questions; those personal experiences are what truly solidified my faith. ❤. Pray that God will reveal Himself to you, it may not happen immediately, but He WILL. He longs to bring us back to where we need to be. ❤. I am finally on firm ground, and whenever my faith starts wavering, I remember those specific personal spiritual experiences with God. Just take all your doubts, questions, and confusion to Him. He understands that we have human minds, and that Satan stops at nothing to confuse us! God WILL bring clarity. And also, of course reading the Bible….and, one of my all time favorite (famous) pastors are Charles Stanley, and David Jeremiah. Their messages are so easy to understand, because they speak it like it is….and straight from the word of God. Also, find out what your local Christian radio stations are….there are lots of amazing pastors speaking throughout the day (great music as well). Praying you get the clarity you are seeking. 🙏💛

The Bible says that it’s not by works, but it’s by faith that we are saved. Also, Jesus said that there are no husbands or wives in Heaven. There is only one heaven (one new earth), it’s called the New Jerusalem and Jesus will be the light to that earth, where all those that believe and confess with their mouths will be in. There no other heavens. The uttermost important commandment is to love God, but if you don’t know who God really is, idk how you will accomplish this commandment. How can you have faith if you don’t know the true Jesus? Thus, pick up a Bible and read it with fresh eyes. Men will not become gods of their own earth, there will be no husband or wives in heaven, there will be no sex in Heaven.

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. @24:38 her comment really hits me as wild. I’m a 2nd generation member (aka I was born into it & my parents are converts) & that is one of the biggest things I’m taught is that I can have a personal relationship with God & He knows me by name. I have no problem with people who choose to leave the Church; it’s their life. when she says “she didn’t know God could interact with you” that is just quite unbelievable. That’s one of the most foundational things we believe. Her credibility, in my mind, being able to talk accurately about our church really goes out the window. All of our beliefs build off of our belief that We believe that Joseph Smith had a personal revelation with God & Jesus Christ where they appeared to him….that’s God & Jesus Christ interacting with him. Edit: it leaves me questioning her being able to the best resource to knowing about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 38:55 “she didn’t know the Holy Spirit could enter you”…man she really didn’t pay attention at church at all. 44:20 again, I don’t think this woman is an expert on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & our beliefs so she is very misguided in that we think she is going to the same place as Satan & his minions. Outer darkness is for people who knew God & Jesus Christ perfectly & his Gospel & denounce God. That’s not what she is doing. I mean i could write a very lengthy book if I commented on every single thing she misrepresents, but I’ll leave it at these 3 things.

My husband is an ex Mormon by marriage. He taught in the Mormon church was sealed in the Temple. He was told specifically that he cannot trust the Holy Bible and was discouraged to teach out of it. He started to question these things and started to get called into the Bishops office and he started to push back against in search of truth and was getting shunned. He ended up finding the true gospel and found freedom in Christ. He can now say that He knows without a shadow of a doubt where he will be for all eternity not because of the rules he followed, but because of his faith in what Jesus did for him. He now has that Blessed Assurance. He knew as a Mormon he couldn’t have. He would always have fear or wonder where he stood with his own righteousness which as the Bible says is like filthy rags. When we believe upon Jesus and what He did by shedding His blood for the washing away of our sins, we can have assurance of our Salvation because of His righteousness and His obedience to the Father, not our own to be saved. He doesn’t want a legal relationship (the spinning on the hamster wheel never knowing if we are ever going to be ‘good enough’), He wants our heart. A real active loving relationship with Him by the power of the Holy Spirit. ♥️

If you are LDS & wore out and feeling like you will never be good enough & questioning your faith, you are in a great place. You won’t be good enough, ever. None of us are. The Chasm is too wide. It’s the very reason the Father had to send His Son to die and take our punishment on our behalf by shedding His blood at the cross. There is POWER in the blood! There is power in the name of Jesus. Get alone and ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. The Bible says that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. In the meantime, look up Andrew Farley.

Yeah like maybe her boss, Glenn Beck. I cannot imagine working for somebody who gives you the platform to make money and a living, and then disparaging their religion. I would never do that to anyone whether it was a Christian, Muslim, Jew or Mormon. It's gross. I love how of course the majority of comments just assume everything in this interview is the absolute truth and are sharing it and "convicted" to "save" their Mormon friends and "had no idea" about this and are so grateful Allie and this person have enlightened them. Of all the religions out there I think Mormonism already gets the most hate and derision even from those whom they hoped would be allies. It's not like they need MORE people "enlightened" against them. As Mormons we're used to it but it doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt. I've gotten to the point where I never engage with people about the tenets of my faith. It's not worth it. The vast majority of people have already been indoctrinated and equipped by the Internet or their own pastors to vehemently insist we're wrong and not Christian and a cult and know what we believe and where we're going better than we do. It's pointless. I think the best think to do in regards to Allie for Mormons is to just unfollow. She's always been anti Mormon like most Christians I've encountered in my life. Why not use the new conservative line, "stop giving your money/business to people who hate you."

Lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints here. Dyed in the wool, true blue, through and through. Have been a big fan of ABS and her voice for Christian values in the public discourse. Don’t really know where to begin to unpack what in the world is being discussed here, if “discussed” is the right terminology. I won’t attempt to engage on a point-counterpoint basis, as this isn’t probably the best venue, but am always happy to respond to questions. What I will say is, Ms. Wilder’s experience is utterly foreign to me. It has not been my experience at all. Sad that she had such a hard time and I hope she has found what shes been looking for. One thing I will say is that some members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints study the scriptures, while others, like Ms. Wilder, don’t (or at least didn’t). Not unlike any other Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox denomination. Glad she’s finally taking the time to study the words of the Savior and his ancient prophets/apostles. @@Elizabeth-rk3doI’m not sure I understand how to specifically approach your question? I would frame it another way: The Bible testifies of Christ. The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ. The ancient apostles testified of Christ. The ancient prophets testified of Christ. Joseph Smith testified of Christ. Modern apostles testify of Christ. Christ established a church with a foundation of prophets and apostles, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ didn’t testify of the Bible or the Book of Mormon, neither of which were in existence as we know them at the time of Christ. Rather, He testified of His Father’s work, of Himself, of the Comforter that He would send, and of His divine mission as recorded in the prophetic scrolls he cited and that were used in the synagogue. So I guess I’m not sure I follow the logic of the question. Apologies if I’m missing something.

I am a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For many years we had accepted the label of "Mormon" as a way to turn what was meant as a derogatory term into something that would be seen as positive through our relationship with God and with our brothers and sisters. Now we have shifted back to correcting the misnomer that we are "Mormons" because it does not accurately represent where our faith lies and Who is in the center of our worship. With all respect, Lynn inaccurately portrayed beliefs we hold. One big one is the claim that we never called ourselves Christian until recently. In truth, everything in this Church is and always has been centered around Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Him (it adds its witness to the Old and New Testament). I know this is true because I've read it and applied the principles therein to my life, and everytime I have done so with a sincere desire to do better, God has changed me. I know that what the Book of Mormon teaches is true because of how it's led me to the healing power of my Savior, just as the Bible has. I am a Christian, and I love my Redeemer. I did not complete this video. It was upsetting that our beliefs were being portrayed with falsehood. Please, if it's possible to do without it becoming combative, have an active member of the Church come on and state his or her beliefs. We want everyone to know that we believe in Jesus Christ. He is our God. We love Him. If anyone has questions about our beliefs, please visit the Church's official website at churchofJesusChrist.org. A good place to start would be www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/about-us. The Book of Mormon is also available to view at www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm?lang=eng. The invitation is open to all to read it and discover for yourself whether it is the word of God. Thank you to all who read this comment and consider these words in a kind manner ❤️

I have read from a few of different generations of ex-Mormons/LDS testimonies, and it seems that over the years various things have changed or been dropped so that it can be hard for those who have left to resonate with those who are still current with the culture. I'm only part way through the video myself, so I can't yet speak to what she discussed, but I think you may find Micah Wilder's book to be a helpful perspective since he was born into the faith and obviously had a very different perspective than his mom. I agree totally with this entry. Some of the things Lynn gets wrong relate to the LDS feelings on the Bible. There were errors made in the transcriptions of the Bible. Thing about how difficult it would have been to correctly copy the words on parchment or other type paper by hand. The Bible was not written when a printing press was available. Our am offended by having our church called a performance religion. We serve as we are able. We are 😊free to choose. That is one of the greatest gifts from Heavenly Father. I was raised mormon. I remember the pressure of performance as a young child. My mother was raised as an evangelical Christian whose parents moved to Utah and she then met my Dad who is many generations mormon and he converted her to the LDS church. She even works at BYU now. I see the terrible pressure she is in to promote herself. My grandparents watched her turn from her Christian faith and mourned the loss of their daughter. I was about 18 when I left mormonism to follow a life of drugs, alcohol, and even went down the homosexual/new age rabbit hole. I got pregnant with my then boyfriend (now husband) when Jehovah's Witnesses knocked on my door. Their message felt so familiar to me but in an even more powerful way. I thought it must be the truth because this religion teaches world wide unity and rejects worldliness and anything that is "pagan". I was a zealous Jehovah Witness for 8 years. It wasn't until I started listening to KZbin influencers like Allie and Mike Winger and Aplogia Studios when I heard the voice of Jesus tell me "I AM" (which just blew open the Trinity to me). I surrendered in that moment and just wept on my knees. The pressure and anxiety of performance was over. Jesus said "It is finished" and meant it!! I was baptized this last summer and am teaching my wonderful children about the beautiful grace filled gospel and the true God of the Bible. Pray for my family because they are all still suffering in mormonism or new age beliefs. 🙏

Are you familiar with what Joseph Smith taught about historical Christianity? It is still recorded in one of the LDS books of scripture in Pearl of Great Price (History of Joseph Smith 1:7-20) 18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)÷and which I should join. 19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: "they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof." To be fair, hopefully you realize that in comparison, these ladies are being very gentle in their approach. Everyone makes mistakes. Jesus Christ makes it clear on how to judge a message. Look to its fruits. If the message brings peace, clarity, happiness and builds light, it is upright. For me personally, I did not experience this with Adam's Road messaging. I felt uneasy and unsettled. On the surface their message seems fine. But as I watched more videos, I realized their messaging had factual errors and misstatements and I wondered if they were more out to cast aspersion. I then realized why I felt that uneasiness and unsettledness.

Lynn is such a lovely lady. I was so happy to meet her shortly after my Faith transition from Mormonism to Christianity. I think what’s important to understand about the different faiths believing in Jesus is that no one disputes Jesus lived and walked the earth. The problem is really WHO we believe Jesus is. Mormons believe he is our brother, created by the Father. Jews believe he was a good man but not their messiah Muslims believe him to just be a prophet. But Christians believe Him when he says in John, “I and the Father are one!” Jesus is God! Emanuel, God with us! The last high priest and propitiation for our sins. It matters which Jesus you follow theologically. Read the book of John.

@@Christianchoose The Bible says that GOD draws people unto Himself. It doesn't take WORK or the 6 'covenants!' It takes the WORD(ONLY!) Mormonism is the most BIZARRE "denomination" that I have ever studied. It is every bit as strange as Scientology(the planet Kolob???) The deeper you go into the SECRET("sacred") RITUALS, the crazier it gets(seer stone in the hat?) Mormons have a (totally) different Jesus, God, Scripture, and Gospel. It doesn't align with the Holy Bible whatsoever. It DOES(closely) align with Freemasonry. Saying that Jesus Christ is Lucifer's brother is BLASPHEMOUS(and VERY offensive to Biblical Christians). If only ALL Mormons would read the New Testament and put aside their "extra-Biblical" teachings, perhaps their EYES, ears and hearts would be opened to the GOOD NEWS of grace, salvation and eternal life in Christ ALONE. In Christianity, there is no such thing as "the covenant path." That is false doctrine. Read John 3:16.

My heart cries out for Mormons. I've met with multiple Mormons, had conversations online, and I just cry out for them to know the truth. I grew up as a disinfranchised, nominal Southern Baptist boy. The only thing that kept me from walking away from God was the fear of hell. Eventually, though not renouncing Christ, I just went and did my own thing. Got into a lot of trouble. To make a very long story shorter, one day, the best thing ever happened: my world came crashing down. I was discovered, uncovered, layed bare. My sins were out in the open and I was convicted of them. And then Jesus came, and God spoke to me, and everything... EVERYTHING changed. I love Mormons. My heart aches for them. The power of the gospel must not be cheapened. The truth of the word must go forth.

Wow, this was sad, and disrespectful. I followed you because I believed you were a spreader of truth and could help unite us as conservatives and as followers of Jesus. Instead, you’re spreading half truths, promoting misconceptions, and dividing us. Why are you spending time turning Christians and conservatives against each other? Now is not the time to discriminate against fellow followers of Christ. I truly believe that we have more in common than we have differences. These are turbulent times. We need to unite, spread Christlike love, and join together to to protect our religious freedoms.

I grew up Mormon. I stopped attending when I was 18. I attend a nondenominational Christian church now after taking many years away from church in general because of the pressures I felt growing up in the Mormon church. I just wanted to live my life. However, these types of conversations have never sat well with me. Mormons believe in Christ. He is their Savior. I mean… the full name of the church is centered around ‘Christ’. The actual Bible is still very much alive and breathing in most mormon households. Now, are there Mormons who have taken ‘their truth’ too far? Of course. It is why so many children in the mormon church suffer from depression and suicide rates are higher than normal society. Are there Mormons who push and shove their beliefs onto others? Making the church look like it is some exclusive club that only a select few are welcome to? Yes, of course. But every religion has people who act in these ways. ‘Religion’ as we know it will and can never be perfect… because humans run religion. And human will never be perfect. There has been and will always be only one perfect person to ever walk the face of the earth… and that is where my faith now lies. My journey has led me back to that reality, and Christ is the center of my ‘religion’. But every church, every sect of Christianity, every ‘religion’… will be flawed, and of course they will all have people who don’t portray or live in a way that Christ truly would have acted. Find me a perfect church, and I’ll show you a church lacking humility. Christ alone is who I pursue. The church I attend is simply the place I feel most connected to him and enjoy worshipping. I was careful about which church I chose, but my faith is built every other day of the week, not just Sunday. Be kind to one another, Merry Christmas to all.

My faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely the central point of my testimony and always has been and always will. We just believe that God and Jesus Christ are different and rather than feeling the need to be "God fearing" we focus on a loving God who has mercy on us and provided a Savior to atone for the sins of the world. We focus on wanting to obey because we LOVE God and now that we FEAR Him. Its a beautiful message of connection and mercy. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I am absolutely a Christian.

The difference is you believe God and Jesus are two different people. Traditional Christianity believes Jesus is God the Father. However, there is historical evidence that in the earliest days of Christianity, many Christians did believe that God and Jesus were two different beings but one and the same purpose and both God and Lord- one the Father one the Son. But the council of Nicea debated this topic of the trinity and decided that the trinity would be the official doctrine of the Christian Church or the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible has verses that are in favor of the trinity view, however there are also verses that are in favor of the separate beings view. I agree with you that I do not think it is fair that these ladies are saying Mormons are not Christians. But in a traditional sense, Mormons do not believe Christ is the Father and so to Christians Mormons don’t believe in the true Christ. I disagree- it’s simply a technicality, but both Christian and Mormon can access grace through faith and repentance on Jesus Christ believe He is the Son of God and their Lord and God.

It shouldn’t matter what other people think. God knows the heart. No need to be shocked. The truth is a person- Jesus. You don’t need the temple to be in the presence of God. As a Christian, you are sealed not by a temple sealing but through the blood of Jesus on the cross where he wasn’t murdered, he freely gave up his life to atone for your sins. When he rose from the dead, he defeated death so you might live. You are saved and the Holy Ghost dwells inside of you as a temple. You are a temple with access to the Heavenly Father. You are a priestess now. There’s no special level in heaven based on what you do. God wants obedience and confession but that comes directly to him. You don’t need some bishops approval of worthiness. You are worthy when you are justified by faith immediately. Sanctification is a process by which you grow and failure to grow At any particular rate does not mean you don’t get access to God.

I grew up as a devout Calvinist for 20+ years; I read countless Protestant books and books on Christian doctrine. I read the Bible cover-to-cover several times and studied it daily. And when I was in my 20s, I came across the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was extremely adamant that the Book of Mormon was NOT scripture, and all the things that a good Christian girl rehearses. Yet I was genuinely intrigued by how kind, how genuine, how Christ-like the members of the Church were. They had far more light then I ever felt from being around other mainstream Christians. What was different? I began investigating and reluctantly accepted a Book of Mormon. When I began to read it, I knew there was NO WAY this book came from the devil, when it brought me feelings of peace and a greater love for Jesus Christ. As a member for 12+ years now, I can honestly say that being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ has brought me such joy and peace as I have never experienced before in all my years of being a Calvinist. I am so grateful to have the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. This lady has so wildly misinformed your audience on what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe, that I can hardly believe she belonged to the same church! I think you found someone who went from being a tepid Christian to a tepid Mormon and sadly never really understood either, because she certainly misrepresents what “Mormons” believe! We don’t believe that you have to “do” things in order to be saved, like when she compared us to Muslims. We believe doing good works because that is what the Savior taught, like “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,” Matt. 5:16. And we believe that Faith without works is dead, see James 2:14-26 “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; *for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.”* (from the Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 25:23) So I recommend if you want to actually learn what “Mormons” believe, visit this website: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng Or ask a faithful member. But interviewing someone who left the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not going to be accurate, ever. ❤ I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it, and I have prayed about it, and I have felt the Holy Spirit testify to me. I know that the Lord has not left us alone in these last days, and that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Holland "So any criticism that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not hold the contemporary Christian view of God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost is not a comment about our commitment to Christ but rather a recognition (accurate, I might add) that our view of the Godhead breaks with post-New Testament Christian history and returns to the doctrine taught by Jesus Himself."

I have walked this path. Raised Mormon. I was baptized in the LDS church at age 5 or so and was ordained to the Aaronic priesthood. Got saved and joined a traditional Protestant church (southern Baptist) at age 13. Not an easy road to walk. It caused a rift with one side of my family that didn’t really heal in a serious way for about 20 years. I have family, friends, and people I respect still who are LDS members; that makes it hard to talk about this in a way that doesn’t leave these people feeling betrayed, and to follow the commandment to honor your parents. Sharing the gospel with them is especially hard, because we use the same kind of language. It makes us seem the same, though we are not. Yet the gospel remains, and Jesus said that His gospel would bring division. I have experienced that as He promised. It is not my privilege to water down the gospel’s message no matter how uncomfortable it is for me personally. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Him. He was not the physical child of god and his wife nor was He Lucifer’s brother. He is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified as the perfect sacrifice for all sin, for all time. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and, at the appropriate time, He will return for His church and defeat His enemies. There is no amount of good works we can do to save ourselves. His church are those who are saved by faith alone, their sin covered by His grace alone, and those who are His can never be taken from His hand.

Thank you for this episode. As a Christian, I've heard things about the Mormon church and their beliefs. When she said as a Mormon she would have called The Holy Bible "dead" and the book of Mormon "living," that gave me chills. The Bible is the true word of the one true God, the living word, never changing, never contradictory to itself, always fresh, always appropriate for teaching and discipline. The Bible is not and never will be "dead."

As a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have respect for the faith journey of every individual on the planet since the God I worship is the creator of the universe and every living soul. If Mormonism doesn’t float your boat, I think it’s awesome that individuals can find a faith home in mainstream Christianity. I don’t feel compelled to proclaim that my understanding of gospel doctrine is 100% correct, but it’s a work in progress. Mortality was meant to be a faith-based experience. As long as our attempt to live by faith is done in good faith, offering each other the grace and space necessary to change and grow, we will all learn life’s lessons. I believe in the Christ that said 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. And…. (M)y grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.

Well, let me think about that…I taught Sunday school to kids in my ward. Loved the Bible stories. Loved teaching children. But back then anyway, I wasn’t relating any of the Old Testament stories to Jesus. They were just interesting stories to capture the imagination I guess. I never related Genesis with Jesus and His creation. So when I read The Book of John as a Mormon I never felt or knew that book was talking about Jesus as God, The Word…became flesh! Wow what an amazing realization for me! I couldn’t stop reading the Bible after that first Bible Study series. If you read the Bible, be sure NOT to read the Joseph Smith version, or even his footnotes version. You too will be amazed!

I agree that the LDS church is friendly to other religions. I was shocked years ago when I learned that other churches taught classes about LDS theology (as well as about various other doctrines, I assume). The LDS church never does that! I mean, who has time?? We only teach our own doctrine. If, for example, I want to learn what the Baptists believe, I’ll talk to a believing, fully committed Baptist. I wouldn’t seek out a disgruntled ex-Baptist or someone with a fault-finding agenda. I appreciate and applaud all religions and give others the respect I hope to receive. Of course the LDS believe theirs is the only 100% true religion. Just as Christians believe Christianity, with all its variations, is the only true religion. Every religion believes they have the truth (including atheism) … otherwise what’s the point?

As a 54-year old member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and devout Christian, I could poke holes in so much of this conversation. So much is taken out of context and bastardized to fit a narrative of how the LDS doctrine is not congruent with God and his teachings. During Jesus Christ’s ministry, His life was a life of teaching and service through ministering and healing. Those are the biggest works that LDS members are able to perform. All “callings” are completely voluntary and you can be released any time you feel the need. By the way, the change in support of same sex marriage was wholly political to protect the church from having to perform those marriages in the church and many other things. The church was heavily involved in the aspects of the law to protect Christian values. Same sex marriage and being involved in an intimate same sex relationship is still not accepted in the LDS church. Remember how much effort was put into fighting for Propositions 8 and 22 in CA by the LDS church? If you can’t win outright legally, you have to steer the narrative in the national law. One question about the so often quoted John 1, how can you be “WITH” yourself if you are the same person? That one word is so often glossed over by other Christians. At Christ’s baptism, why would God say, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” if he was talking about himself? How did Steven see Jesus Christ sitting on the right hand of God, if They are one in he same. Why would you only study the New Testament, when the Old Testament was about the coming of and mission of Jesus Christ? Articles of Faith 11: “We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” Allie, I am stymied as to why you would want to tear down a Christian religion whether your beliefs are different or not. That whole section about Mitt Romney and the “white horse prophesy” was laughable. It must be UT folklore. The only reason anyone wanted Romney as President was to have a Christian in the White House with good morals and values, nothing about having a “Mormon” in the White House to bring the Second Coming.

God is one essence and three persons. Each person is God. Latter day worship a different God. The LDS god is an exalted man from another planet, that had to work his way to godhood, practices polygamy, lives near a star named Kolob, had sex with his own spirit daughter Mary to conceive 'Christ,' damns people who deny the 'eternal principle of polygamy,' (D&C 132), threatened to destroy Emma if she didn't abide by her husband's adultery (D&C 132:54, 64), is going to have women sharing their husbands with other women for all eternity and the'other women' will serve as sex objects for LDS men who happen to get to the 'top level' of heaven. @@estherlewis7458 Esther, thank you for your feedback, but you have listened to too many anti-Mormon folks and don't understand who I/we believe God, our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost/Spirit are. I know that God, the Father of all humanity, is a God of flesh and bone, an exalted being. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was already a God and is a resurrected being, who came to earth, lived His mortal ministry, suffering in Gethsemane and more physically on the cross so that He could succor His people with a perfect knowledge and understanding of everything we could experience here on earth during our mortal lives. I know that Jesus Christ was resurrected after death, giving all of us the same opportunity. I know the Holy Spirit is a body of Spirit, not flesh and bone, and can give us guidance, direction, and comfort as the need arises. I don't understand why you call them one "essence" when it is my belief they are of one mind and mission, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of "man" (being women and men inclusive). No, I/we don't believe God had sex with Mary to conceive Jesus Christ any more than believing He had sex with Elizabeth for her to conceive John the Baptist. God is a God of miracles so I'm sure he has the power to impregnate a woman without physical interaction. Regarding polygamy, I do believe it is a Godly principle that He uses to build up His kingdom, as in the well documented history in the Old Testament for the House of Israel to grow, for example King David, Solomon, Jacob, Moses, etc. At the time polygamy was instituted by God through Joseph Smith, the restored church had been decimated by mobs, leaving many of the women and children without husbands and fathers. It was not solely for the purpose of men to have sex with numerous women. When President Joseph F. Smith called an end to polygamy in the church, it was under the pressure of all men in polygamist marriages being arrested under US Law. I think God saw fit to protect His church here on earth, as it had grown strong enough to continue to grow. Would I like to practice polygamy? Not really. I have my hands full with the wife I have. If I am worthy of the Celestial Kingdom and called to have other wives, who didn't have the opportunity to marry on earth, then I'll accept as long as my wife agrees. I'll worry about that when I'm dead and leave my understanding of God's will until that time when I can ask Him directly and have perfect understanding. Yes, I do believe that Joseph Smith and Emma were under great scrutiny and pressure from God to accept the practice of polygamy. I'm sure it was more than merely difficult. Without it, God's restored gospel and "church" could not survive and grow as was destined to happen, for God will not fail in His purposes. Accept the principle or not, blast the LDS Church for practicing it or not, it doesn't make my belief in my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the restored gospel any different. Thank you for your time. Merry Christmas!

@@Mounty621 I don't listen to anti Mormons. I have read the Bible over 30 times. The Bible is 'anti Mormon.' There is no evidence that the LDS Heavenly Father or Christ exists. The true and living God commands us not to multiply wives. Deut.17:17 Joseph Smith said that he never practiced polygamy. The LDS church denied polygamy until November 2015. I gather you want me to believe they were lying? According to LDS church records, Joseph Smith got a 16 year old girl pregnant (adultery), promised fathers and mothers a higher spot in heaven if they would let him marry their 14 year old daughters (lying), sent men on missions and then married their wives (Deut. 22:22), and married two sets of sisters and two sets of a mother and her daughter (Leviticus 18:17-28). That's not polygamy. The true and living God calls those things abominations. All liars will be cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8 That is how we know Joseph Smith is already in conscious torment in outer darkness/hell. ***** There are no levels of heaven. Revelation 21 and 22 tell us what heaven will be like. Believers will be married to Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:7-9; Believers will be all together on the new earth and new heaven serving God and Christ. People will not be separated on different 'levels.' People will not be separated on different planets. God doesn't damn people who deny the 'eternal principle of polygamy' nor would he threatened to kill Emma if she didn't abide by her husband's adultery. Women will not be sharing their husbands with other women for all eternity and the 'other women' will not be serving as sex objects for LDS men who happen to get to the 'top level' of heaven. Only an evil Heavenly Father would say and do those things. Heaven is not a house of horrors. God loves everyone including women! ❤️ There are no marriages and families in heaven. Christ has already told us this. Christ is in charge of heaven not the LDS church. The issue is not about polygamy. Joseph Smith did not believe in God, he invented his own god that approved of all these abominations. It's called idolatry when you worship a god of your imagination. A god that you can snuggle up to and feel comfortable with. Idolaters will be cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8

@@estherlewis7458 Those are some great questions. I have asked that myself occasionally, but I guess I haven't really cared enough about that to let it destroy my mission of what I need to perfect while I'm here on earth. I guess you could go back to Genesis where, under God the Father's command, Jesus Christ created the earth. Is that correct? So, depending on who you see referenced as God during the creation, Genesis 1:27 said "That God created man in his own image" and in Genesis 5:1 "God created man, in the likeness of made he him" and in Genesis 9:6 "in the image of God made he man." Extrapolating from what you believe, we are only created in the image of God's spirit form? @@teresawhitney3387 Hello Terea, I was raised LDS, and was a devoted church member, so I know what the LDS church teaches as doctrines. The question here is not about the series The Chosen, but again, it is about Jenkins stating that both the LDS and biblical Christians believe in the same Jesus. Joseph Smith's teachings about Jesus are not the same as what it is taught in the Bible. First of all, Smith taught that the Father has not always been God but that He used to be a mortal man who needed to work his way up into becoming a god. Isaiah 43:10 denies that as truth: "before me no god was formed, neither shall there be any after me." John 1:1 tells us that from the beginning, Jesus was with God and was God. Colossians 1 tells us that Jesus created all things both in heavens and on the earth, visible or invisible, wether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together." vs 16-17 Did Joseph Smith teach LDs church members to believe that about Jesus or did he teach that Jesus became a god through evolving from an intelligence, to a spirit child, who was completely dependent on other gods having sexual relations to birth his spirit? That is a completely different version of the Jesus Christ of the Bible, and we have to warn the sincere LDS people about that because the biblical Christ also said that unless we believe in Him, not in the counterfeit Christs out there, we are not part of Him, and will die under God's condemnation. Only the true Jesus Christ can truly saves us from all our sins. So, even if the initial reaction from the LDS is to be upset, we still need to sound the alarm, as God doesn't want anyone to perish but to have eternal life with Him through a personal relationship with Christ.

I had attended many different Christian denomination churches throughout my life. A lot of them taught so many good things that eventually led me to where I am now as a member of the LDS church. I could probably say a lot about how I know that this church is true but that would just take a very long time. One thing I do want to mention is that in the other churches that I attended, they believed that if you did not believe in Jesus Christ, you were going to hell. I always knew in my heart that our Heavenly Father would never do that to his good children. There are comparatively very few people that are actually going to outer darkness a.k.a. hell. There are so many people in this world that are good people that do not believe in Jesus Christ and they are still going to a very good place that is prepared for them by our Heavenly Father, they are not going to hell. This is the kind of God I love, and that I know loves all his children. I am truly thankful for the restored church on the earth today today. This is exactly what I’m talking about… So sad that you are telling people this. There are very good people in this world. I just want to state that that is not true to anyone that might be reading this that may feel like they or their family members are going to hell because they do not believe in Jesus Christ. That is totally and absolutely not true. If you read on in Luke 13 to the 30th verse, “And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.” This implies that there may be different levels of spiritual understanding in which some people think they know all the “rules” and judgements of God….then there are others that are humble and know that God‘s judgements are just. It may very possibly be that they will be first before those who are proud and think they know how Heavenly Father will judge. He knows everyone’s heart, and by their fruits we shall know them. And as we know, Jesus said in my Fathers house are many mansions… this tells us that not everybody will be able to enter the main gate in which Heavenly Father lives, but that does not mean there’s not a place for them in heaven. It all depends on what you define as the “gate” and what is that gate leading to? There is a lot we do not know about heaven, but there are some things ( if you humbly search the scriptures, pray and ask direction from the Holy Ghost) that we do know, and good people are not going to hell regardless of what we as humans want to believe. Our Heavenly Father is a loving, and just God and he will judge accordingly to how we lived our lives here on earth. Believing in Jesus Christ will definitely put you on the straight path but that does not mean that people that are struggling and being led on different paths, are going to hell. It is not up for us to judge others. That is up to our kind and loving Heavenly Father.

They may not be technically employed by the church but it is obvious to anyone who attends a ward meeting from the outside that people are exhausted and worked to death in volunteer work to fullfil the Mormon teaching on works based salvation, and too keep them from having free time to ask questions or read the Bible for themselves. 2nd nephi 25:23 "For we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." Which is an obvious corruption of the original biblical teaching Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.”

@@GratiaPrima_ I sincerely do not think that Jesus Christ will say to me, (According to you) “Deborah, you who showed devotion to me always and did your best to show that devotion and love to me that was always in your heart and mind and spirit, I reject your devotion because you didn’t think of me in the exact way the “Bible only” Christians did, and the way THEY described my gospel, even though you were well-versed in my word from the Bible. Therefore, I reject you and your life is a waste, even though you love me more than most in the world. Go to hell with Satan.” …It is definitely YOU who doesn’t know the true Gospel of Jesus Christ!! You have instead made up your own gospel, the gospel of Melissa Eberhart! It’s ironic that our names both mean “ honey bee”, but I’d be willing to bet you weren’t aware of that, either. So, even though most of the world isn’t Christian by a long shot and many of those who say they are Christians aren’t even devoted to Jesus Christ, you think he would throw away those who are truly devoted to Him??! If so, you truly do not understand His Gospel!! “…whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent NOT his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be SAVED. He that believeth on him is NOT condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:15-21 …Looks like it is YOU who does not understand Christ’s Gospel!! I promise you that one day, when you are humble enough, you will understand, and that it is not your job to condemn others, just as it says in YOUR King James Bible! Rather, Jesus is the Eternal Judge and it is He who took it upon Himself to willingly obey the Father, even unto death and even though He was innocent and sinless. He walked the earth, performing miracles through His Holy Priesthood that God, His Father gave Him. He showed us, his brothers and sisters, his fellow man, how to love and serve others. We are not to judge others, unless we are willing to be judged the very same way. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15 (If we truly love Him, we will SHOW Him by keeping His commandments and doing His will!) “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:27 “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto him, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so, faith, if it hath not works, is DEAD, being ALONE. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith BY my WORKS. Thou believeth there is one God; thou doest well: the DEVILS ALSO BELIEVE, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how FAITH was WROUGHT with his WORKS and by WORKS was FAITH MADE PERFECT? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for RIGHTEOUSNESS and he was called the FRIEND OF GOD. Ye see then how that by WORKS a man is JUSTIFIED and NOT BY FAITH ONLY. …For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith WITHOUT WORKS is DEAD also. James 2:14-26, excepting verse 25. So, I’m sorry, Melissa, my sister, but your own Bible that you say you believe in and follow is condemning you and all who deny the truth by not living it. You must live it, not just SAY it!! Remember, Satan knows the truth, but chooses to not live it; rather he chooses evil works, otherwise how could he be the devil and lead others away? He wants others to be deceived and come with him! One of his deceptions is that you can SAY you believe, right in the middle of sinning, and you’ll be saved, anyway! Rather, always look to Jesus Christ’s words and works, and do the same. Keep the Two Great Commandments of loving God and loving your neighbor. THAT will get you saved in heaven, rather than just uttering some dead words! Even Jesus, himself, could not save us, UNLESS He actually DID the WORK of DYING on the cross!!! If He had chosen NOT to DIE for us, his POWER and ABILITY to SAVE US would have been in vain!!! I’m so very glad Jesus did His WORK of living on the Earth, walking among his fellow man, and teaching us, and loving us, then actually SUFFERED and DIED for us, and not just SAYING He loved us!!!

I listen to ABS regularly, and respect her courage and faith. I am also a practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. I’m always a little sad to see stories like these, especially coming from people I feel such affinity with. Much of what is represented as Latter-day Saint doctrine isn’t accurate or even true. I think people would be better served to understand Latter-day Saint doctrine and religion from a practicing member. I imagine many evangelicals would take issue with an interview about their religion/faith/beliefs if it was given by an ex-evangelical and presented as an accurate understanding of their faith. Below, I included a link to a recent sermon given by one of my church leaders that touches on the Latter-day Saint relationship toward the iconography of the cross. I have nothing but respect to all my Christian brothers and sisters who use it as a sign of their faith. One of the articles of faith in Latter-day Saint faith states, “We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” I only pray for blessings and peace for Lynn Wilder and all my fellow Christian’s, no matter which religion they claim. as someone who grew up as a non member in a very heavy latter day saint population, i often felt judged by and left out from the people around me. i believed in general christianity, but i definitely wasn’t lds. it wasn’t until i did my own research and studies that i considered officially joining. what brought me to the church of jesus christ of latter day saints was my belief that there’s truth in everything. people all over the world, no matter their belief system, can and likely will be influenced by god because we’re all his children and we are all brothers and sisters on this earth. this is the only church i’ve found that allows for truth within all religions. see, it’s not that anyone else necessarily has it wrong, they just don’t have the full truth, and we believe we have the fullest truth to date. also, i believe that people will end up in life with the outcomes they desire and work for. very few people will end up in eternally bad places (only the lowest of the low who just don’t have it in their nature to change). for the vast majority of people, they’ll end up in a situation where they will be happy and successful. again, this is the only church i’ve found that believes that. from these, and other beliefs i hold, i found this video to be wildly offensive. it misconstrues the gospel in large ways. god won’t doom you to suffering if you “aren’t good enough.” we’re not the only people who hold truth. i know how how performative the church can feel. i also know that is simply a cultural phenomenon, largely contained in the state of utah. i recently moved to the philippines, where i married my husband in the temple, and i’ve joined a completely different church culture here. people are not only warm and inviting, they genuinely care about you and they don’t do it to save face. do not blame the issues you feel on the church as a whole. look around before you judge so harshly. we are all christians- why can’t we focus on love and not on division? i expect others to spread falsehoods about my beliefs, but i never expected that from mainstream conservative media like the blaze. it’s simply offensive

This was excellent! The differences between these two belief systems are so substantial that they both can't be true at the same time. The truth matters. The way we determine truth matters. We should be truth seekers and wish to follow the truth. God has given us something substantial to measure truth claims against and it is the Bible. We are not to trust our hearts for they can deceive. Sadly many Mormons believe the Book of Mormon to be true because their hearts told them so. This is not a good way to determine whether something is true or not. I'm so grateful that God has rescued me from the false man made religion that is Mormonism. The gospel is all about Jesus, Who He is and what He has done. He is and always will be enough!!

How about inviting Senator Mike Lee on your show and interviewing him. He’s very knowledgeable and upstanding member of the church who can give you a much better understanding of our beliefs. And yet you didn't state one thing she said about the LDS religion that was false. I guess I'll just keep copy/pasting. LDS is not biblical. It's an entirely different religion from Christianity. It's not a "denomination." Stop repeating that falsehood. Joseph Smith founded it for that purpose. Don't believe me? Here is part of the account, directly from the official LDS website, under the section called JOSEPH SMITH-HISTORY: 18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)-and which I should join. 19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

The New Testament is 'anti Mormon' as well. If you read the New Testament with sincere intent, you would know that. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. - Article of Faith #3 Book of Mormon For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do. - 2 Nephi 25:23 "One of the most fallacious doctrines originated by Satan and propounded by man is that man is saved alone by the grace of God; that belief in Jesus Christ alone is all that is needed for salvation," (Miracle of Forgiveness, Spencer W. Kimball, p. 206). The Bible Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [h]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. *********** Jesus' sacrifice was not able to cleanse us from all our sins, (murder and repeated adultery are exceptions), (Journal of Discourses, vol. 3, 1856, p. 247). I John 1:7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. ********** Good works are necessary for salvation (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 92). The Bible Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, *********** There is no salvation without accepting Joseph Smith as a prophet of God (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, p. 188). The Bible Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." - John 14:6 *********** "This grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts," (LDS Bible Dictionary, p. 697). The Bible Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. *********** There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (Mormon Doctrine, p.670). The Bible And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name (Jesus) under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. - Acts 4:12 Nothing is more important than where you spend eternity.
