As a kenyan living in America, I have to set the record straight on this one.. nothing beats the prices of clothes in Eastleigh. You can take that to the bank. I just bought a pair of fitted jeans that would have otherwise cost me $9 ( ksh1000 ) at Amal plaza for $35( ksh4500 ) at a local store here. A far cry from affordable if you asked me.

Those prices are cheap to Americans and extremely cheap to Europeans because the value of a dollar . I’m a welder and I make 73,000 usd a year , when my little sister go her driver’s license I bought her a car and that normal in America. My friend from Africa that works for the same company I work for say the things we do over here only rich people do in Africa. He said he send 400 usd a week to his family in Africa and they live like rich people . In America you can’t survive off of 400 a week but it’s easy to make money and 400 isn’t that much .
