The culture and purpose behind FOSS is the ability to venture behind the scenes of our shared software to better understand. Indeed Linux is a beast, but that feels lost here. Any upcoming content involving CLI installs with descriptive info during a follow along, for instance? While it can take a bit more time, it is vital in truly viewing the beast. Verbose mode! It is hard to appreciate without firat-hand understanding. Ubuntu has made it easy which is an excellent option. Most ugrad courses only require Linux server build in Win10 cmd prompt. @@RenyxGhoul Late reply but here to give my 2 cents if it's still relevant to you, keep in mind I'm running on windows though. It gets hot and the fans turn on pretty quickly, but if I'm just browsing with battery saver it'll last 3-5+ hours (base edition, 4k oled). There's also a way to edit the bios to unlock undervolting, which is what I did and set it to -130mV offset. This also helped with fan noise + heat a bit. While gaming though it's definitely noisy + the battery life will be at max around 2 hours. My feelings are mixed on the device. If I could do it again, I would get a m1 mac since I don't have much time to game, but it's still a very capable device + a powerhouse when it needs to be for games.
