I’m watching this on 3/26. We live in the central San Joaquin Valley, CA. We haven’t been able to get beans, rice and sooo much more but yesterday for THE FIRST time in a very long time it seems-we got our organic, cage-free eggs! Yay! We’re using grocery delivery. Both my hubby & I are seniors and our daughter is on immunity-suppressant medication so we are totally all in isolation. Our son is able to work from home. So many blessings still. Trying to stay positive while taking precautions during this uncharted time. Both of you stay well.

We pray that rice and beans are sent your way soon, thinking of you all and sending you our love during this unprecedented time. Just keep your faith and love close, all-ways ❤️

Unusual, but understandable, to see you being anxious; you did well to get back to the USA, but I am sure you would have been fine had you stayed in Panama. Here in the UK the authorities and camp sites are discouraging people from travelling in their camper vans - you might find your travel plans curtailed there too in the near future. Maybe find somewhere nice and just stay put for a while; you will be fine, you are very resourceful people.
@Mrandmrsadventure4 жыл бұрын
The USA is extremely vast as you know and it would be difficult to stop campers/RVs altogether. We definitely don't feel it's the time or appropriate to sight see when so many are fighting for their lives or working the front lines as doctors or nurses. We are much better off here in our van and grateful that we left Panama. The country of Panama terminated all flights for the next 30-days. Staying put and isolating now in the California desert.

Great question, and we will address this in future videos, but we are so GRATEFUL. The reality is that 3rd world/many foreign countries are not equipped to handle a pandemic in the same way the US can (not to say our country knows what to do or is doing everything right), BUT being foreigners we felt the country would need to use all its resources to help its own people, and often times, during crisis, foreigners come 2nd... or last. And with Panama closing all its airports and Boquete (where we were) imposing a 5pm curfew where you are only allowed outside on certain days based on the last # of your passport for 2 hours only to go to 1 of 2 small grocery stores or a pharmacy... we are extremely grateful we made the journey HOME... safe and free in our off-grid van 🙏🏼... more coming your way next week! be well ❤️

WOW...sez the elder Mr. and Mrs. Adventures. This video was an adventure in itself. I was in a quandary with you before you shared your relief with us all. Should you stay? Go? Where were you the safest? Who knows? When there were only 2 tickets left on the airlines....I considered that the universe....fates...other? as a sign. Well, welcome home, D and B......such as it is. On 9/11 .....we were in Canada when they locked down the border to the U.S. Luckily we knew a back road to the ferry terminal....at the captains permission, we were allowed to come home on an empty ferry to Washington State. We left our car and all our belongings in the parking lot. Also lucky the ferry Capt. waited until my handsome prince literally ran to board. How eerie was the empty terminal.....empty ferry. But we were going home! Just another shared adventure, right? Blessings to you both....even this virus is an adventure of kind....hoping for a happy ending. Lastly....some of your readers comments are disturbing Dont take it to heart. Maybe they are bitter because they dont have what you (and we, do). Signed....Recliner Babe.

So get your products onto Amazon (countries) and you'll increase your revenue. You lead transparent lives which is great, but many vanlifers do not. They only show the good times, not the dark difficult days they grub around in awful weather trying to find content for their videos, so they sugar-coat their channel. most likely not for a while, we were planning to return to the US after 2-3 months there, we thought we could perhaps love Boquete but it's far too cold and windy and far from the sea for us to consider living there long term. We would only return to visit our dear friends ❤️
@TheJackal3424 жыл бұрын
I'm not trying to throw hate or anything and I'm glad you're back safe. But I just wish people would stop traveling by air during this time. I'm one of the people who have to sanitize these aircraft and I've been told by our on site CDC doctor that this whole pandemic could end a lot sooner if people just stop air travel for a couple weeks. We've had passengers knowingly travel while sick with this virus. And I'm sent up to spray the aircraft to kill the virus. This is not my normal job. And I'd happily take unpaid time off over doing this job. Unfortunately for me I'm not getting that option unless I quit the workplace that I've been at for 15 years... My state is about to have an explosion if sick people, and I do not wish for my family or myself to be part of them. As long as people insist on flying, there will inevitably be sick people among them.
@Mrandmrsadventure4 жыл бұрын
We sincerely thank you for your hard, grueling work in making sure that the virus does not spread further. We completely understand your concern and need for pay. We can assure you that we were healthy at the time of flying (this was now almost 2 weeks ago). On the flip side, authorities have created turmoil amongst travelers being stuck in various countries with borders closing. The reality is that 3rd world/many foreign countries are not equipped to handle a pandemic in the same way the US can (not to say our country knows what to do or is doing everything right), BUT being foreigners we felt the country would need to use all its resources to help its own people, and often times, during crisis, foreigners come 2nd... or last. And with Panama closing all its airports and Boquete (where we were) imposing a 5pm curfew where you are only allowed outside on certain days based on the last # of your passport for 2 hours only to go to 1 of 2 small grocery stores or a pharmacy. Ultimately there should be better screening prior to taking flights to prevent what is going on worldwide. Not once in 3 different airports or at customs did we see anyone checking temperatures or screening passengers. I traveled during the Swine flu years ago and every passenger was made to walk past na infrared thermometer to determine if they could pass and board the flights. We are extremely grateful we made the journey home when we did, but know that we sympathize and agree with you... hoping that the airlines and airports all around world would just shut down for 2 weeks would be a great start 🙏🏼Sending you our gratitude and strength during this time ❤️

Glad you got fortunate. I were following a young girl from the U.K. Who was stuck out in Portugal ocean side. Low on food decide to cross back across Spain the long way to U.K. .she got stopped a few times by cop lock down, but she was smart after they said no she told them she coming home from a vacation just want to go home what do you suggest? Play humble..They called and got ok. Then the border can't enter. Told them the same calls. Special granted. you can drive through but can't get out of the van. So she in there now But I was checking Spain and Spain's death toll from the coronavirus has now climbed to 4,089 after another 655 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, according to Spain's Health Ministry. Yuck. Surely she going to have a 15 day isolation. But U.K. Are in the thick of it too.. but when ever your afraid home is where you want to be. She almost there. Lot of rv guys are stuck. You need to carry 15 dry emergency food. Really just soup stuff enough.

It's emotional people put off the emergency reality so it hit hard and late. But long as they stay strong emotionally it's noe about them the laws are made for the people. They tell you to leaves because the resident there are going to complain. That our beach how come Tourist can say there and we can't. And that cop is his route. If he brake the rule. Nothing personal. Cause they are hopping for One month of isolation is the answer. This isn't for you but other rv guys. Then U don't feel hurt getting kick out.

USA is the worst place in the world to be right now. This not a reflection on the poor, misguided people there. My heart breaks for what lies ahead of them, the sheer amount of death. Maybe this will finally bring about change in the USA. The very rich will survive as they always have....but maybe the rest will at last demand fair treatment. I hope, so that all that death will not be for nothing.
@Mrandmrsadventure4 жыл бұрын
@@jennifermackinnon6982 We wholeheartedly disagree. You don't know poor until you have been to other countries. We certainly have the worst homeless issue in the world and lots of mental health issues, but there are tons of resources, etc. and the opportunity for those who want to work and make life better for themselves. Yes, it's an extremely difficult time and it will get far worse in the months ahead in terms of missed rent and joblessness. Our hope is that this makes the entire country changed and placed back into balance. Material wealth and riches are not the solution. We have so much to appreciate about being in the US.
