What a contrast from those who are stuck in small flats with children and no outdoor space. Especially in places where accommodation isn't as vast as it is in the US. I feel blessed because despite being one of the sheilders and having to stay at home alone at least I have a small garden and two dogs to keep me company. Thank you for cheering us up.

I'm on my 7th day of "Stay Home, Be Healthy", in Portland Oregon. It's been challenging. Alone in a basement apartment. I'm used to working at a locally owned coffee shop. Talking to people, engaging, having some sort of purpose. A structured routine. My first week didn't go so well. But today I'm starting to get the hang of the isolation. I'm dropping a video soon, on what NOT to do if you're alone during this crisis. It's very easy to spiral into a depression, especially for those of us that already deal with mental health issues. You two went to Trader Joe's like professionals. Grateful you were able to get everything you need. Your positive attitudes blew me away! Until next week... STAY safe and be healthy.

Im a truck driver. Im delivering frieght in the southern states currently. Im grateful my job is keeping me close to home so i can see my hubby every week. I wear gloves and a mask when i pick up and deliver and also sanitize my shoes and floors everyday. I know if i do get sick i can at least live in my truck as to hopefully not to infect hubby. Remember to add Zinc to your immune regiman.

I was a waitress since I was 15 I’m 36 and was laid off due to covid. I applied at my local aldi grocery store not only so I could afford to live but to be able to help my community by helping give the stores open so they can eat! We took a summer gig working a gatehouse in a campground.... well that was the original plan, but now the other hosts, some volunteers and ourselves are caring for a now closed campground. The state is under a stay at home order... fortunately we have freedom within the park, so we count ourselves very fortunate indeed.

Because we are seniors we are having our food delivered... (not always so easy) but we are making sure to disinfect all our packages before bringing them in the house. Plus we keep our shoes outside. Sooo many little, yet vital details to remember. We had to make a mad dash out of Florida back up North... where it is less densely populated. It was a pretty intense trip. Never appreciated being Home so much. God bless us all ... this too shall pass. Just stayin put.

I've lived in my 30 foot RV for almost 2 years I move around but mostly stay at the Walmart parking lot in Clovis California and yesterday my sister texted me that the very Walmart that I shop in an employee just contracted the Coronavirus so it's getting real guys stay safe I hope to see more of your videos thanks for letting us watch :-) PS pizza night! :-)

There is no need to panic, we have everything we could possible need. We are pretty simple people and are super grateful to be back in our van. I wonder if there is a way to check the validity of the passports now that they have been washed. A few people have made mention of this. Enjoy a Pizza night for us LOL

My delivery store guy Omar is so precious. I don’t have to go out and become exposed because he comes to me. I’ve pretty much been social isolating for over a year since my suicide attempt. I think that’s what’s kept me safe and healthy. But my stupid broken wrist is still annoying and I can’t do yoga

This is something that not a lot of people think about but your rings harbor SO MUCH bacteria. If you can either soak them in something antibacterial or possibly put away for the time being it will help with the germs. I haven’t been wearing my wedding ring either and I hate /: but stay safe friends and sanitized!

Thank Goodness you both made it back to The US! Prayers for Your people in Fiji. We’re self-isolated in The San Joaquin Valley here in Ca. Hard to get beans, rice, etc. But- we are blessed. We have our adult children w/us. We live w/our son in his home so its good. Our daughter is on immune-suppressant drugs. She’s here too. We see no one. Groceries are delivered then de-contaminated. But that’s a blessing too. My hubby is the designated person to venture out if we need (pharmacy, etc.) You guys STAY WELL! This too shall pass!

Glad your back in your Van, you are so fortunate to have your home. I’m also in Southern Calif and have been in place for two weeks. I am very fortunate to live in the foothills facing beautiful snow capped mountains in the west, and city lights to the East. I am also in an area where we all have 2 1/2 acres or more of land, and it’s beautiful. It has certainly been a drastic change for everyone. Yesterday the President announced an extended closure through 4/30/20, which I think is wise. However, as you know, California is one of the three hardest hit States and is on a ‘Stay at home’ order and not a lockdown. This is likely why there are still so many people who seem to think they are on the outside of this and are not affected. It’s really upsetting. Anyway you two, stay well, looks like you did some great shopping. I only shopped at one location which was the grocery store in my hometown, I did not want to risk being in the majority moving from city to city shopping and potentially getting infected and bring that to another city. At this point if it were up to me I might consider closing the city borders to only those who live in the city. And perhaps that would help keep the hoarders from going from city to city and wiping out the shelves so that not even the cities residents can find their simple essentials, as well as stop the risk of spread. I did go back 2x to my local store in the same week, looking for brown rice, flour, and disinfectant but there was none, except I picked up one of the last packages of Oatmeal which happen to be a two 10 lb package, so it was a score. I gave one 10lb package to my neighbor who has his RV parked on my property, he didn’t have any. Stay well. And looking forward to see where you move to. BTW, my brother was in the Peace Corps in Columbia, he actually just started his tour there about 6 months ago, the embassy evacuated all US citizens so he is in SD quarantined in a hotel, he is on his 2nd week.

Wow! We nearly joined the Peace Corps years ago but weren't married at the time and didn't want to be separated. Had no idea they had been called back. That's for the best at a time like this and why we decided to return stateside. Sounds like you have a great view and are doing the right thing by staying in an limiting store visits. Listen to this...my daughter just contacted me from Omaha, NE....she is in quarantine....omg....she has to wait for the results of her covid test. She has a wonderful marriage like yours and a precious son, MY GRANDBABY, and she can't be around them at all...she feels like a social disease on two feet...her husband lets her out of her cage but follows her around spraying bleach all around and after her...lol...imagine how lucky you two really are with regard to quarantine...it can be scary hard emotionally. Oh, I am so proud of you two for your gratitude. I do the same thing...I thank everyone who is working so that we can all do what we need to do. We will get through this together...we need to all pray for each other and try to stay close to the hope and love for our global healing...thank you, lovelies for reminding all of us of what is truly important....oh...and yea vitamins are a staple...I have chewables and the swallow kind...covering all my physiological bases...lol....skipping works the quadriceps and gluteus maximus and minimus muscles...go team Adventure!!!!!....( lots of applause, giggling, and praying and skipping and dancing and acting goofy....works for me!!!!)

Just a tip for everyone because they mentioned touching the door handle, I have always done this lol but I know most people don’t. Use your sleeve instead, or if you are wearing short sleeves even the bottom of your shirt works or bring a napkin with you. It’s much better than touching it with your hand! Sadly the two weeks of quarantine was broken by the first visit to the grocery store. Unless this is a video from many weeks ago, I am very disappointed you not respecting the quarantine at all. I arrived in Canada from the states and sat in my bus, truly quarantined for over the required 14 days. It is not tough - ask a friend to shop for you.

This was filmed over a week ago. Being that we have no family to be able to gather all our supplies for us, or a physical address to be able to order food or groceries to, we HAD TO go to the stores in order to stock up on, like we said, 3+ months of food, so then we could get outta dodge. While doing so, we always did all that we could to keep those around us safe, sanitizing, washing our hands, keeping distance, using plastic bags 1:30, etc. We understand where you are coming from, and we hope you can understand why we physically had to go in order to get what we needed to get outta dodge. U can preserve some foods wthout refrigerated, bell pepper put in jar wth oil carrots make it pickles vinegar salt sugar pepper chili > jar, Take care Godbless

So great to see you in San Diego, especially in North County! Gotta love Swami’s! There are great gardens to walk through at SRF, the place with the golden wall toppers. Did you see the Cardiff kook? One day, somebody put a mask on him. Luckily we saw it coming and got our supplies early. We’ve managed to get the garden started too. One day about the time you were here my son went to Trader Joe’s and the entire frozen food section was empty. Plus there were no beans or rice or pasta of any kind. Stores Have gotten shipments in and there is food to be had. I think the panic buying was because most people were just unaware of what was happening and the stay home order came without warning. Travel safe, and hope you don’t have any trouble finding places to park, as everything has been shut down here, because people weren’t taking it seriously and it was social crowding instead of social distancing, Even on the trails.

I was Doordashing until a week ago. I crashed on the first of the month. I isolated myself. I think I have it I am on day 5 now a fever so I called the hospital. I have to get tested tomorrow. This virus is so different from flu or any other common cold we all have experienced. Drinking a ton of hot drinks till I get better I am optimistic but scared for family members and for our world..
