That looked like an incredible family vacation. Great memories. My son lived near Kona on property with his dad, off grid, building a house for several years. He really enjoyed it. Hi Friends, l got emotional at the end 😢 when you said "we are going home tomorrow" l realised l was 1hr in but it felt like 10mins, you put this movie length video together beautifully, full of gorgeous scenery, kids and Parents having fun and as you narrated the story it flowed seamlessly into each day, l truly didn't want it to end but like all good things in life they must have an end so we can enjoy them again the next time. I am so grateful to you for this labour of love putting all this footage together just for us. Your honesty about "Mumming" in a tropical location resonates with so many of us. Lauren, that was amazing to live vicariously through your family. Love the music, the sound of the waves, the beautiful sunsets and blue waters, the wildlife and, of course, seeing everyone enjoy themselves. I grew up at the beach so love all the beautiful beaches you visited. The ball you bought that bounces on water, was so cool, who da thought? The food you ate throughout the week really looked amazing. My mouth watered everytime you cooked up your fish! Phonograms! I’m a retired Spalding Certified Teacher Instructor. I recognize the phonogram cards! How exciting! I taught hundreds of first graders to read using the phonogram cards and the Spalding, writing Road to Reading. 😊👍🏼❤️

I know with the kids its probably a lot but my favorite way to cook green beans is get a steamer bag and I add in a pinch of fresh garlic and a little smidge of butter, then after they steam it just speeds up the cook time then I pan sear them they are so tasty. Hawaii looks so beautiful I hope to be able to afford to go one day, mangos are my fav and fresh mangos from a stand in Hawaii are probably hard to beat, the Ataulfo mangos are superior so delish they are sometimes called champagne or honey mangos.

There is just so many great moments on this Hawaiian Trip. I love seeing the Colors of the Fruit Market, and the colors of the Fish Mark Caught. Watching the Kids just adapt to a new Environment, they are such Outdoorsman. I would be a little timid in the water, I would be in constant fear of getting stung. Your guys just jump in and play hard. Mark and Lauren what an awesome trip for the Boys. They are growing up so fast. I loved seeing them all snorkeling. Gary loved the Sea Turtle Thanks for the find Bennet. And Weston, you are the most thoughtful, thankful guy. What a perfect sentiment for Dad and Mom. It puts everything into perspective. I am in awe of how beautiful Hawaii is, such a Paradise. Thank you for taking us along. We enjoyed it , early Christmas present

Lauren, you did a fabulous job documenting your family trip to Hawaii and showing us the various parts of your days. Loved the fish…catching the beautiful/ colorful fish, prepping, cooking and eating them! Mark does great w all of that. It was extremely nice to see a family enjoying being together 😊most of the time in spite of times when emotions showed themselves … grouchy, over tired, and, simply out of the regular routines. The photography for excellent and, yes, God sure does an incredibly creative job of showing us His gifts! My town in NJ also has designated cat colonies where strays are TNR'ed (trap, neuter, release) & checked for any illnesses. Some are so friendly that they're adoptable. Our current kitty (my daughter's) came from one of the colonies when her mama gave birth back in March. There's one cat from the colony that roams around town. We can never get too close so we just call him or her Mystery. A neighbor calls that cat "The Nomad".

Hello Hamm Family ❤️ Love this. What an awesome adventure. Sorry to hear about Hunter's and Everett's issues. Praise Yah it wasn't worse. So happy you all enjoyed your trip despite the setbacks. Awesome find by Bennett... Sea Turtles are beautiful. Weston having a chip break with Mom was so wholesome and sweet. All those fish looked delicious. Way to go Fisherman Mark. Paddleboarding looks like so much fun. Fun times and yummy treats abound, just as they should when on vacation. We've never been to Hawaii. Maybe. Someday. Beautiful nonetheless. Those packaged hard boiled eggs are icky. They get rubbery. I bought some once. Let's just say Maggie (dog) had an addition to her meals. Feral kitties rock. I love hearing that locals are caring for them. We have a feral cat community up the road. In fact, our Kitty, Ash, was part of the clan. When he was about 8-10 weeks old he showed up and adopted us. Followed Mark everywhere. He went from Pauper to Prince and he's never going back. He and his FurBrother, Dakota (cat), and FurSister, Maggie (dog), are all very spoiled and dearly loved 😍 Turkeys... Gobble gobble 🦃🦃 Donuts: Powdered Lemon Custard and Bavarian Creme for Mark. Long Johns and Chocolate Glazed for Bry(an). Raspberry Jelly and Boston Cream for me. Mmmmm 😋 Airbnb's are definitely the way to go. Yours looks very nice. That wreath is beautiful. Definitely hope you make one and video it. Would love to see that. Awesome last day. Memories made. That's a tropical Hibiscus, not a Hydrangea. They only grow as an annual here in North Texas, but I do have some hardy hibiscus that is beautiful every summer growing behind our pool. The ONLY downside to either variety of hibiscus is that the bloom only lasts one day. Last year my very first Hibiscus flower bloomed on my daughter and son-in-law's anniversary, June 18th.

When I go out of town for a couple of days I bring food from home. So much cheaper than a restaurant . I stay at a hotel that is a little farther away from the main drag. Saves me a lot of money.

We went to Hawaii just before Christmas last year because my daughter was finishing up her travel nurse contract. I was excited to go but Hawaii wasn't ever on my bucket list of places to go. The scenery was gorgeous and it was so interesting. They were sticklers with their covid restrictions though. It was a lot to take in because it wasn't like that in Florida at all. I was so glad to come back home but I'd love to go back.
