It was a horrible kind of war. This was the culmination of years of brutality. I hope we never see one this bad again.

What's weird for me is that this was an opportune moment for Japan to surrender. How severe the bomb was sort of didn't matter as the other cities in Japan were already getting bombed to heck. Russia was pushing into their territories in China, and the US was also planning to do another d-day... I hope those who died in those nukes died quickly, I was watching the effects of the nuke with the conversation Richter and Richard had in mind with just having peace and not fighting the inevitable as if you can really do anything about it but the animation had me a bit shocked as they were unwittingly vaporised in a violent manner, in contrast to how the Hotline Miami characters died to the nukes where they just seemed to instantaneously die without a moment to react. I guess my main point I wanted to just say was how the atom bombs were kinda pointless in terms of their destructivity in comparison to all the war going on and the frequent bombings of the other cities. But I don't feel like I should say it is because of all the death that it brought with it. I don't know..

Memes aside, the music really suits the imagery. I’m not sure if the original scene had music or if it was just silent, but either way you can’t help but feel incredibly somber.
