Can’t beat the old 7.3 beasts. I drove my 96 to 750,000. Odometer rolled over three times and the body was falling off. I miss that truck.

A Cummins picks a 7.3 internal out of its teeth. Also, my grandpa has a 01 7.3 and it literally will barely pull 8k lbs, it sounds like it's going to implode, and it's got under 150k on it, even with a chip on high, they still don't touch a stock 24 valve Cummins, and I'd personally never get a diesel cuz I'm not 17 trying to impress all the girls in my school parking lot...

Yep, the 7.3 was a beast for sure. Now everything is electronic garbage with modules and cheap shit stuffed everywhere that you usually have to wait weeks or months for if you need to replace. Things have changed so much, and not for the better as far as working on your own vehicles. It's sad, and makes me sick.
