The problem starts with the word in the title, “aggression.” A non state actor (a state within a state) waging a war against a sovereign state is unacceptable. Hezbollah is in fact officially part of the Lebanese government. So any attack by the group is considered an attack by the government of Lebanon. Lebanon cannot cry victim when Israel responds because the attack comes from its territory. Why doesn’t the anchor feel any concern or sympathy for the Israeli civilians who were forced to relocate due to Hezbollah attacks? Why couldn’t she mention that it’s against international law to hide weapons amongst civilians which Hezbollah often does? The group attacks Israel territory indiscriminately. Israel conducts targeted attacks. If the weapon catches are hidden amongst civilians, it is Hezbollah’s fault, not Israel’s.
