The loss dropped LA to tenth place in the Western Conference. More importantly, the King turned his ankle which he described afterwards as quote: 'horrible.' Scoring a bunch of unimportant points during the course of the game is NOT the same as taking over the game and scoring in crunch time at pivotal moments to deliver the win for your team. Especially, when every opposing player knows you are getting the ball and you still deliver. Yes, Lebron is scoring a lot of points, BUT he is not scoring in crunch time to propel his team to the victory. That is why Jordan is the GOAT among many other reasons.

If all moments of time in the game were equally important, there would be no such thing as "garbage time" or "extended garbage time." Points to end the other team's momentum or points to give your team a sustained run or points to secure a victory MATTER MORE THAN just meaningless buckets in the course of the game flow. If you cannot understand that, then you have no business talking about any sport. Lebron is scoring a lot of meaningly points and padding stats during moments of the game that do not impact the outcome of game. That is clear BECAUSE his team not winning and under .500. Not only are the Lakers not winning, they are losing to teams they should easily handle like OKC. Lakers got blown out by OKC. That should not happen.

looking at lebrons PER, after that ankle injury, his PER in the first half was +15, but dropped to -24 in the second half, for a total of -9.. In the press conference, he is saying that his ankle was painful. should have sat down as they had a 20pt lead at halftime. but I guess, having to win the scoring title, he has to continue playing or else his average will go down.
