I love how LeBron, took the time to first acknowledge the other seven lives. Way to show Kobe, and Gigi weren’t the only lives that were taken that day. I know, this meant a lot to those families that were left behind as well. Rest In Peace to all that were on that Helicopter♥️. God bless all of the families, may he be with you🙏🏽

The most respect I have ever had for Le Bron...Kobe was my favorite ball player ever, he was bigger than life and an inspiration to me and millions and millions of other people! He was the walking definition of man, and the results of what extremely hard work and dedication to your craft can propel you to! Kobe you will be truly missed but never forgotten...your now a legend and one of the the most deserving legends that has ever graced this earth. You embodied the human spirit and were just an incredible human being equal to that of your basketball skills which were superhuman! God bless you Kobe, you will live on in the harts of mankind forever!

The reason that this tragedy hits the hardest. As a kid with an absent father, looking for mentorship and lessons about how to LIVE LIFE. I adopted the mentality of Kobe and took his mentality as mine. He really served as a father type figure in not only mine, but for so many others without father figures in our lives man.... A lot of people dont understand the remorse for someone that us fans never met... But they truly do not understand the IMPACT THAT THIS MAN HAD ON US

I am a HUGE empath. However, some of these feelings are displacement. Some people it is even attention-seeking. Some it's mixed emotions. "Father figure" to you though? This is when it becomes frustrating, in spite of sadness.

Kobe was finally proud of LeBron and showing respect during games, something he clearly never did until very recently. I bet that's what's hurting us the most, the fact that Kobe was just starting his real life, the most important one, with all his spare time to be the greatest father and enjoy basketball as a fan.

"You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on." - David Harkins *R.I.P Kobe and Gianna Bryant and to those who were killed in the crash* ❤️❤️

It's fucked up, but I read many reports about pilots pointing out how reckless the whole thing looks. It seems the pilot took chances instead of following a more secured approach. So, by chance, the guy took out 9 lives, just like that. That's why air travel is so crazy, there are very rare cases of accidents... but when it happens, it kills everyone.

My love and spirit goes out to the families of those that lost loved ones in Sunday’s tragedy, your loss is rippling through the world, a lot of us can’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through, but the world is there with shoulders to cry on. And Thank you Kobe, for reigniting the Celtics Lakers rivalry for my generation, for understanding where that put you in this games history, thank you for giving all of us every little drop of you every single time we ever saw you. Thank you for your dedication and commitment, for pushing not only basketball players, but men and women in all walks of life, to be the very best they can be at whatever it is they are passionate about. Thank you for the moments, thank you for The Mamba, thank you for being Kobe Bean Bryant. We’ll always love you and we’ll always miss you, but as you said yourself, “legends never die”.

You know, being born in Oakland, and growing up in LA, I've always been and will always be a Laker Fan. When I heard the news of LeBron James signing a 4 year deal with LA and then reading it was the Lakers, I was a little iffy about it because I'm not really a big fan of his. Can he play? Hell yeah he can. I just wasn't a fan. But after tonight's speech, my whole perspective has changed. LeBron, I highly doubt that you will read this or even see this, but brother you have my full support and will continue to have my full support for as long as you play the game. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for the Lakers and the better of the city of Los Angeles. Once a Laker, always a Laker. Rest in Power Kobe, and Gianna Bryant. Life is too short. This is brutal. I can feel myself starting to get emotional so I’ll just end it here: Rest in eternal peace to one of the greatest athletes and one of the finest human beings that God ever placed on this earth. We all have our problems, but it’s how we overcome them that counts. Kobe turned his problems into his testimony. That transcends the definition of a champion in each and every way. My prayer is that we all can dig within and do just that. We can all do it, he paved the way. I thank God for the inspiration of that man, and I think that I speak for us all when I say that we are all better off simply because he lived. I pray for the families and friends of ALL who were lost in that unfortunate event, and for all of us fans around the world. May we find strength in Jesus during this unthinkable time. We WILL see them again if we believe. 🙏🏾 Rest in POWER Black Mamba and Gigi. 💜💛✝️💟☮️🙏🏾🙌🏾 #4Kobe #BlackMamba #Gigi
