I will lament one more time about Lebron James being a point guard! Lebron James is not a point guard! He is, however, the best passer in NBA history; that includes Magic Johnson also! Lebron's court vision and his physicality is transcendent. His passes are always on point and he delivers it where only the offensive player can catch and shoot before a defender can contest the shot. He just needs someone who can consistently hit an outside jumper. Lebron is the greatest talent the NBA has ever seen by far, in terms of: physicality, court awareness, and IQ. And, it's not even close!

Agreed. Lebron is only a "point guard" because he controls the offense from the backcourt (which by definition of point guard makes him one). He isnt traditional at it in any way. He can drive, dunk, post up, shoot a 3, fade away, so many tools for scoring. What separates him is the passing. He leads the NBA in FG% by teammates after a pass as well as average pts made after. each pass. Hes dominating every stat of passing this season even compared to CP3, Lillard, Curry (hurt), Kyrie (hurt), harden, i mean you name a player and Lebrons passing is off the charts in comparison. This man receives so much hate but if any other player in the league had Lebrons skillset they would be instantly called the GOAT or best in the NBA.

Nah. Magic is more legendary. Everyones seen Lebron play, far fewer have seen Magic play. They played in diff era's, and Magics era is glorified and we all think its been in every way. Magic was also only known for 1 thing: Passing. So its hard for people to accept that Lebron is a better passer when he can do so many other things on top of that. Both great passers, but Lebron has insane speed on his passes and thats one of the key differences.
