Interesting. Never heard anyone point out that MJ "had" to take a break after his first 3. I understand that MJ had very close personal things happening, but I would argue that if you have worked even a few years in a career you understand that every human is battling things in their personal life and still expected to go to work every day. Not everyone can afford to drastically change the structure of their life for a few years just because of a personal incident. Not saying MJ isnt greater or whatever, but putting lebron's mental toughness in that context was insightful imo
@derekbanks7377 Жыл бұрын
To give your body and mind time to recover is a LOT, MJ would have never been as good as he was in that 2nd three peat if he had just continued to play, LBJ is not given enough credit for his dedication to the game, MJ lay off is always over looked!

Every season one conference is 'weaker' (whatever that's supposed to quantify) but you only heard it regarding LeBron. The East was not strong sending bad back LJ and the Knicks, AI and four dudes , totally forgotten Nets and Pacers teams to the Finals to get annihilated against dynasties from the West.

Lebron was in a unique situation though where most teams were blowing it up and building for a post lebron era. It’s not his fault, and it shouldn’t be held against him, but he was just so great that teams were playing the long game of waiting till he left
@Trailrunner19783 жыл бұрын
LeBron knowing other teams plays before they do them is just crazy. The stories about his extreme memory and capacity for taking in information. Like seeing 10 different games on 10 tv screens at once and remembering every play from every game is one example. He is a basketball genius. And now hearing his work ethic is better than everybody elses. There's no coincidence LeBron is the best.
