16 teams had a shot to draft him but they said DK was "too old". Also, he's playing in the perfect system for his skillset. Redick made it known that he wanted the Lakers to shoot more 3's, and the Lakers were looking to get a Klay Thompson-type of player. They missed out on Klay in the offseason, but ending up getting their guy in the draft. It's a win-win

@@jakobs.1525 LeBron is okay on defense but his age has slowed him down. The key will be the bench defender as the Lakers will have to out score teams. With James, AD, Reaves and Knecht they should be able to stay in games with teams that have a strong defense and blow out teams that can't defend.

So Lakers wins can be scrutinized because of the teams they’ve been playing and beating, especially because of injuries, but an injured Lakers team wouldn’t get the same benefit of the doubt. Lakers are missing one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, missing their two rotation big men that they have to play a two way player, and with rui out, JJ has no choice but to play essentially FOUR GUARDS. FOH with the dismissing of Lakers wins if you’re not gonna give them the same benefit. More brain dead NBA casual logic.
