good one ....very well explained the concepts of stability both BIBO & Zero input stability .....again got the point that impulse response of any system is the key thing in terms of stability ...asymptotic stability is a good concept ...

I don't understand how in the world there might be a system that can be unstable with zero input 🤔 😕 😔 💔 😅 🙃 I wasted a lot of time trying to understand this concept 46:05 in which class this is discussed?

why we have say only left hand side of roots are stable y not right hand

+Yojana Upre for a causal system roc is always right sided(right of right most pole) and from basics of signals and systems for a system to be stable its impulse response must be absolutely integrable i.e fourier transform must be existed for that and for existence of fourier transform roc has to include (jW) axis so poles has to be on left side of (jw) axis for a system to be stable.

+Yojana Upre for a right handed pole say s=a ; a>0 the Transfer function would be 1/(s-a). Inverse laplace transform of such function would be exp(at), it will blow up as t-> larger values => System is not stable. For s=-a ILT would be exp(-at) and system is stable. Hope it helps :)

Hello Sumit pandey. In my view what you conveyed is related to converging and diverging systems. how can it be related to location of poles on right hand side and left hand side of S plane regarding stability of a system .

@@SumitPandey-spbias ilt of the function mentioned by you can also have a response -exp(at)u(-t) which is stable one depending on the roc
