How did you get the wires to come out of the frame if the frame and pinion box didn’t have an opening?

There is an opening on the top side of the gear box

Did you have to reduce the Gates belt tension before removing the front sprocket?

We did not. We leveraged the sprocket and then rotated the it back on until it seated itself. If you do have to loosen tension, be sure to get the gates app that will using frequency of the belt tension to let you know if it’s tightened appropriately

Does the increased battery reflect properly on the LCD showing Voltage/wattage/current....does it auto switch to the second battery when the first runs out, or they both take the load at the same time (meaning the new one runs out first, etc..)?

If both batteries are charged full before using (54.6V) the display will read them as one battery. The balancer utilizes the higher voltage battery until they are equal and then uniformly discharges both batteries to the low voltage cutoff.

@@ElectricAllWheel Very cool...I understand how to charge the Lectric Battery (usually off my bike, indoors due to weather, etc), but I can also plug it in while on bike in some cases...how do I charge this second battery? Is there a solution to plug in both and charge them together?

@ both batteries will need to be charged independently with their respective charger

Hey, i also installed a 2nd battery on my ebike and i wanted to ask you if i could use only one of them? It's hard to reach the dual battery adapter to unplug the mounting plate of the battery that I won't be using and to also connect the mounting plate of the battery that I will be using directly to the controller. That's why i am asking if it's ok to use only battery with the dual battery adapter, will that cause any damage to anything? Thanks 👍🏼

Quick question: would it be feasible to add three 36V batteries to an e-bike using XT60 dual extensions and a 50A dual battery parallel discharge converter? Since all batteries are 36V, I understand a battery balancer isn’t necessary. However, I’m curious if this setup could pose any safety risks. I’m aware that XT60 connectors may not be as good as XT90s when it comes to holding top speed , but I don’t plan to ride at max speed, my main goal is simply to extend the range for food delivery. ( the bike is a Actbest race 750 model with 36v 13a battery)

Yes. You can add multiple batteries at the same voltage. The spec voltage of the e-bike is what you want to match. Amp hours (Ah) can be any number. Putting a 36V battery with a 48V bike won’t work, just keep that in mind
