great video. Was wondering. Can I just buy the controller only to unlock the throttle. Also seem like on the video on peddle asst 1 to 5 seem not change and it reach top speed on all level. Reason I ask is that if I wanted to have my granddaughter ride I like to keep it on asst level 2 or 3 and keep the speed down or does all level always hit the top speed. Thanks again

We need a similar kit for the xpeak 1.0, I've got your kit for using both factory batteries (haven't installed yet cuz it's snowing) but I'd love to be able to do 28+ with just throttle.

Great video! I'm curious though, You may have said something regarding it, for the controller. I'm wandering why you didn't upgrade it to like, 25 amps, or even 30?, to get even more than 28mph? Also, I have a 2.0. Do these mods work the same as a 3.0?

Does the controller Pedal assist behave like PWR or the old speed based? Also do we have the capability to leave the bike at 20MPH throttle? I only ask this because this controller is 50$ and my bike it out of warranty so if my controller pukes I don't want to have to pay the inflated lectric pricing and end up with the inferior PWR limited throttle controller.

What's up bro, I wanted to ask you. I have a lectric xp3.0 and I want my e-bike the go a little faster with the throttle. Can I just buy the after market controller that you are selling for it to go past 20 miles. Or do I need to buy both color display and controller? The reason I am asking because I am low on money and I just want to know. Thank you 👍

He demonstrated it working past 20mph with the stock display in the video. As far as I can tell, the color display is just bling and doesn't add any other functionality.

Matt, I understand that the unlocked controller gives max amps for all PAS levels when using throttle. Does the unlocked controller still put out the same amps for each PAS level as the original controller when I'm pedaling (PAS 1 - 2amps, PAS 2 - 7 amps, etc).

The current is slightly different with the speed for PAS 1 being 10-12mph dependent. The breakdown is incremental up to the theoretical 28mph top speed

@acutt5512 Purchased mine December 13 after DBN put out a video talking about how he messed up trying to run his business by himself even used his Thank You code and the Turtleneck Bundle was in stock according to his website, Visa confirmed I was charged; here it is January 19 and no word. If there was something that happened to a person's order, then at least let your customers know. I will just consider this a loss and move on. Be careful who you order from.
